billsredneck1 Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 what is the problem? man i hope we get him back!
BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 should have been a third or 4th round tender. need this guy. great complement to McCoy
Clemfield2622 Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 should have been a third or 4th round tender. need this guy. great complement to McCoy That's not how it works. You either get tendered at original round, 2nd round, or 1st round with escalating salaries to go with them.
YoloinOhio Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Gillislee' agent is just trying to put pressure on Bills with the extension, imo, and Pats trying to pressure on L. Blount on their current negotiations.
Royale with Cheese Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Gillislee' agent is just trying to put pressure on Bills with the extension, imo, and Pats trying to pressure on L. Blount on their current negotiations. I think like we did with Tyrod by bringing Hoyer. As soon as Tyrod signed the new contract....Hoyers trip canceled like the Pepsi ad.
Doc Brown Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 The best dual RB's in the league. Match the offer unless it's ludicrous which I doubt.
Jasovon Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 not TD Mike, please not TD Mike. Not to the Patriots, i couldn't take it.
bilzfancy Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Gillislee' agent is just trying to put pressure on Bills with the extension, imo, and Pats trying to pressure on L. Blount on their current negotiations.yep, they brought in AP for the same reason
Webster Guy Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 5.7 ypc average, best in the NFL last year. Go watch our home Miami game, fastest man on the field. He and Zeke Elliot are the only two guys that consistently get around the outside and up the sidelines. Maybe Jamaal Charles. That sets up the cutback nicely. Whaley's low tender was a ballsy move, he used it to set a benchmark for negotiations like he did with Groy. They'll work it out to $2m per year with incentives.
Freddie's Dead Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Shocking. The Bills lowballing tenders? Say it ain't so. Losing TD Mike would suck moose testicles.
The Jokeman Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 @rapsheet: RFA action: #Patriots recently hosted #Bills RFA RB Mike Gillislee on a visit, source said. ... Gillislee has an original (5th) rd tender I have a feeling it's a Patriots intel meeting, as it was also reported that Mike was working out with the team earlier in the week. Hopefully he doesn't spill anything about the new staff to the enemy.
nucci Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Shocking. The Bills lowballing tenders? Say it ain't so. Losing TD Mike would suck moose testicles. Right, because he's definitely worth a 1st or 2nd round pick I have a feeling it's a Patriots intel meeting, as it was also reported that Mike was working out with the team earlier in the week. Hopefully he doesn't spill anything about the new staff to the enemy. What could he tell them? Coaches are not allowed to discuss football with the players at this time
FluffHead Posted April 13, 2017 Author Posted April 13, 2017 I have a feeling it's a Patriots intel meeting, as it was also reported that Mike was working out with the team earlier in the week. Hopefully he doesn't spill anything about the new staff to the enemy. He hasn't learned the scheme yet, so... There is years of film on the kubiak offense and McDermott defense. Belichick doesn't need Gillislee to tell him how it works.
Freddie's Dead Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Right, because he's definitely worth a 1st or 2nd round pick Hogan redux, although the difference in price this year is $950K, so there's that. I think TD Mike is worth the 2.8M and a 2nd rd pick, you and the Bills don't. We'll see what happens.
Bronxbomber21 Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 But but but we would get a 5th round pick back in return..... 😂
jeffismagic Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 He hasn't learned the scheme yet, so... There is years of film on the kubiak offense and McDermott defense. Belichick doesn't need Gillislee to tell him how it works. Belichick knows more about the Buffalo scheme than our coaches.
Beef Jerky Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Please no. They keep taking my favourite Bills. Why are average backups always peoples favorites...
