Miyagi-Do Karate Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Anderson stole that one. Really ridiculous performance. Â Not sure why they disallowed the pens' first goal, by the Way.
LB3 Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Anderson was incredible! Bobby and Hoffman stepped up all game.
Jauronimo Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Anderson stole that one. Really ridiculous performance. Â Not sure why they disallowed the pens' first goal, by the Way. You're still not allowed to shove the goalie into the net before you shoot. I don't like the rule either, but we have to live with it.

teef Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 As an admitted homer, he pushed Anderson in with his stick. Then went back and scooped i though he was shoved into the goal?
LB3 Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 i though he was shoved into the goal? There was contact between Daley and the defender, but when Daley was muscling his stick and pushing Andy it was all him.

At this point I don't know what to expect. The Penguins are clearly the better team but Ottawa is scrappy and playing with house money. Whether they win or lose they've made it a fun (and nerve-racking) postseason. Edited May 24, 2017 by LBSeeBallLBGetBall
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 In case you missed it last night, Ottawa was 2,000 short of a sell-out for last night's game 6:  http://ottawacitizen.com/business/local-business/bagnall-the-senators-grapple-with-multi-faceted-marketing-challenge  http://ottawacitizen.com/sports/hockey/nhl/senatorsextra/senators-trying-to-sell-out-game-6-against-penguins  Â

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 All going to come down to the goalies. Anderson is going to have to steal this game for them to win. Pens are tough to beat in game 7's--lot of clutch players.
LB3 Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 (edited) Wicked psyched for this game. No matter what happens, it was a crazy fun and unexpected ride. Go Sens Go! Edited May 25, 2017 by LBSeeBallLBGetBall
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Wicked psyched for this game. No matter what happens, it was a crazy fun and unexpected ride. Go Sens Go! Curious-- are you a sens fan or just been rooting for them? I ask because I seriously have never met at Ottawa fan. Other Canadian hockey towns seem more well-known.
Augie Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 7th heaven tonight! Â Go Ottawa! Â I have a friend who lives in Ottawa. He calls it the land that fun forgot. Every time I talk to him. To the point of........just MOVE! Â But life isn't that easy.
Big C Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Curious-- are you a sens fan or just been rooting for them? I ask because I seriously have never met at Ottawa fan. Other Canadian hockey towns seem more well-known. Â Personally, I'm just rooting for them, but I have always had a soft spot for the franchise. I liked a lot of the expansion teams in the early 90s growing up. Something about the timing of all these new teams coinciding with my burgeoning passion for the sport. Also I feel for the town overall as Augie alludes to the general melancholy about it. Oddly it is a pretty big city... almost a million residents.

Other Canadian hockey towns seem more well-known. I've been a fan since I was in 5th grade. Mom got me the wrong Starter jacket and I've been a fan ever since. I'm the only Ottawa fan I've ever known in person. Edited May 26, 2017 by LBSeeBallLBGetBall
Big C Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 (edited) Man that was a hell of a game. Hate to see the Pens move on, hope Nashville clobbers them. Edited May 26, 2017 by Big C
