Mostly camp fodder, but Cromartie, Metz, Sylve, and Sylvestre have chances as backups and special teams. Just glad to see we are still working at filling the roster before there is absolutely nothing left out there.

You never know, but most of these type of signings hardly ever pan out. Let's hope for a diamond in the rough!

Junior!

Undersized guy with a lot of heart. Could become a fan favorite during the offseason if he stays healthy.

Do the Bills try him at WLB?

From SB Nation Colts blog...

"Sylvestre was one of the stars of training camp for the Colts, making plays all over the field and having a big impact. He was always near the play and made several of them, and he seemed to be firmly in the competition at inside linebacker. He was still a player very much on the bubble, but he had a strong preseason resume to try to make the team. He left Thursday's preseason finale late with an ankle injury, and it sounds like it ended up being a pretty serious one"

CB Marcus Cromartie, T Cameron Jefferson, LB Jacob Lindsey (a Harvard guy), DE Jake Metz, OL Jordan Mudge, DB Bradley Sylve, LB Junior Sylvestre, and LB Eddie Yarbrough.

You know you aren't exactly getting the red carpet treatment when your signing is announced as part of "Bills add 8 players to the roster".

The guy I'm most intrigued by is Eddie Yarbrough

I actually had a draftable grade on him last year:

An interested subject post draft would be "which of this years second and third round picks will be trying out at OBD 2 years from now".

Maybe Pegs packed all eight of them in his limo?

Jacob Lindsay is from Harvard. That reminds me of an anecdote about Ryan Fitzpatrick. Maybe you've heard it.

Fitzpatrick? Wasn't he the guy that kept his wedding ring ground up and in the freezer?

That's some blue collar guys, right there.

what does that mean....they get paid by the hour.....bring a lunch pail to work.....

...and his beard had a perfect wonderlic score...

Metz looks like a good candidate. I wonder how he is at long snapping? With arena league work it is possible he could also work as OT and has physical stats for it.
