#34fan Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Evan Engram has the best hands in College football. End of story. That said, he'll never be a complete TE, but more of a rangy WR... That's why it's OJ or bust for me.
John from Riverside Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 (edited) He played 13 games John. did he or did he not have a jones fracture in 2016 that limited him for most of the year......forcing him to have to take plays off during games? Edited April 3, 2017 by John from Hemet
FireChan Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 did he or did he not have a jones fracture in 2016 that limited him for most of the year......forcing him to have to take plays off during games? We're talking 2015.
John from Riverside Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 We're talking 2015. Why are we talking about 2 years ago?
FireChan Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Why are we talking about 2 years ago? Because Clay was on the Bills 2 years ago. And he sucked.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/190221-we-are-witnessing-the-slow-decay-of-charles-clay/ Clay has gotten worse every year. He is dangerously close to being useless. Yes, a receiver is pretty useless when no one throws to him.
Agent 91 Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Still had bad numbers all year. 9.7 YPC is horrendous. Thats what happens when you have a QB who throws the ball to wrs and doesnt put the ball in places that allow for YAC
FireChan Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Thats what happens when you have a QB who throws the ball to wrs and doesnt put the ball in places that allow for YAC He was his QB in 2015 too and his numbers were better. Still bad, but not as bad. This dude is done.
row_33 Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Bills haven't even thought of a serious TE for at least 30 years now?
34-78-83 Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 TE's are blockers and Wr's typically. That's Clay. He's a killer blocker and his staff the past 2 seasons has praised that more than once. He's also an above average receiver as a TE and has done everything the team wanted him to, often in an outlet receiver role. He has missed some time with injuries and played through some other injuries. Last season he was missed by TT on some open opportunities early on... He and TT finally seemed to develop a connection in the last 3rd of 2016 where he showed more down the field ability.
