26CornerBlitz Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 (edited) @schadjoe NEWS: Miami Dolphins releasing Dion Jordan, former #3 overall draft choice, today http://wp.me/p4fHcW-bUz Edited April 11, 2017 by 26CornerBlitz
Royale with Cheese Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 I actually didn't know he was still on an active roster. He's more of a 3-4 olb right?
Beef Jerky Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 I actually didn't know he was still on an active roster. He's more of a 3-4 olb right? He's more of a nothing. Bad player...
JohnBonhamRocks Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 If this were special teams, and Jordan were the football, and Whaley was on the coverage team... then "poison!"
Bronxbomber21 Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 I never understood the trade up for him reminded me of Maybin coming out of school.
Eric Moulds on my A** Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Even after this kid has failed to live up to expectations, everyone knows Whaley loves a good reclamation project. It wouldn't surprise me if we sniff around Dion. #3 pick... ouch.
JohnBonhamRocks Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 He is a 6'6" 275 lb guy who ran a 4.6 second 40 (when he was 248 lb), who came out of high school a top-10 nationally rated tight end prospect, and who the Oregon coaches initially wanted to play WR... move over Logan Thomas?
NoSaint Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 yea, even in the moment it seemed like a head scratcher to give up as much as they did to get a player as seemingly risky as he is. He was not the could be a hall of famer but will likely be a cornerstone regardless, and he wasnt a QB. Id have a really hard time trading like that for a boom or bust guy at any other position and it was clear thats who he was.
Doc Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Quick! Sign him and trade him to San Francisco for one of their best players.
Mark80 Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 I remember watching his highlights that draft year. In almost every play it seemed to me that he was cleaning up after a great play by a certain LB who was all over the field. None other than Mr. Kiko himself. Called bust immediately.
Sandy McFiddish Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Could not hurt to at least kick the tires.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Could not hurt to at least kick the tires. ....no thanks............. "The Miami Dolphins waived former 2013 first-round pick Dion Jordan on Friday after he failed a physical, the team announced."
Webster Guy Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 He looked pretty awesome to me in college. Then again so did Corey Moore....
3rdand12 Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 ....no thanks.............
