TC in St. Louis Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 (edited) My sister lives in Denver, and says all the talk is about McCaffery. Granted, this is all sports radio talk which is meaningless, but the Broncos have the 20th spot. Using the draft value chart, a swap could get us the 20th pick, a 2nd rounder, a 4th rounder, and maybe a 4th rounder in next year's draft. Would you do it? Edited March 31, 2017 by TC in St. Louis
YoloinOhio Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 I would do it of course but I think you should change the thread title since it's just radio talk and they aren't actually looking to trade up for him
YoloinOhio Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 I don't think they will need to trade up for him anyway
Juice_32 Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 The main issue with this is that McCaffery will be there at 20.
Blokestradamus Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 The main issue with this is that McCaffery will be there at 20. And Tavon Austin wasn't worth the 8th pick. Far be it for me to tell teams how to draft. Gimme picks
Jauronimo Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Hi how are you today? I'm a long time listener first time caller. My sister lives in Idaho and all the buzz there is that this year's russets are the best crop in the last 6 years. So if the second coming of Joe Montana is there when the Bills pick do you think they should trade that pick if the next Brady is available in the 5th? I think, possibly. I'll hang up now and wait for your thoughts.
CEN-CAL17 Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 In a heart beat!!!! To gain a 2nd and 4th AND a 2018 4th.... done!
Kirby Jackson Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 In a second and we may sense as a trade up target. There is talk here that the Saints like him. It's probably pick 32 for them but they have 11 as well.
Juice_32 Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 And Tavon Austin wasn't worth the 8th pick. Far be it for me to tell teams how to draft. Gimme picks 100% agree. And if they wanted to do it, I would in a heartbeat. I just don't see it. Elway is too shrewd.
Blokestradamus Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 100% agree. And if they wanted to do it, I would in a heartbeat. I just don't see it. Elway is too shrewd. Elway offered Osweiler $16m/year and drafted Paxton Lynch. I can think of other words to use to describe him.
long suffering bills fan Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Yes, gather as many picks as we can. Pull the trigger if moving down in the first round is an option.
YoloinOhio Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Elway offered Osweiler $16m/year and drafted Paxton Lynch. I can think of other words to use to describe him. dont forget Bradley Robey in the first round
Blokestradamus Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 dont forget Bradley Robey in the first round Roby, Miller, Wolfe, Trevathan, Jackson, Paradis, Ray in 5 drafts. If that was Whaley, he'd get skinned for it
yungmack Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 I would do it of course but I think you should change the thread title since it's just radio talk and they aren't actually looking to trade up for himJust add a question mark.
Juice_32 Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Roby, Miller, Wolfe, Trevathan, Jackson, Paradis, Ray in 5 drafts. If that was Whaley, he'd get skinned for it If Whaley brought us a championship, he could draft all punters for a decade and I'd be ok with it.
