thebandit27 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 And that is why you don't just go out and say "Hey, why don't see sign..." It's also why people like me typically say "I'd kick the tires on..."
r00tabaga Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 And that is why you don't just go out and say "Hey, why don't see sign..." Its easier to post something than to reasonably think about it. It's a proven fact.
eme123 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 nothing like a well used patriot to round out our yearly roster
gr8billsfan Posted March 27, 2017 Author Posted March 27, 2017 (edited) Its easier to post something than to reasonably think about it. It's a proven fact. Yes because reason indicates whether or not a player is a good option for a need on a football team. Great insight. And that is why you don't just go out and say "Hey, why don't see sign..." And this is why you ignore a topic like this and refrain from being toxic. Just a simple question. "Contemplating retirement" doesn't indicate he is retiring. Should he? No doubt. Can the Bills make an offer? Yes. The main question was whether the fans would like a signing of a RT of his skill set or not. Edited March 27, 2017 by gr8billsfan
Mr. WEO Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 I do. Because it's the reason we're a bad FA market. Guys on the tail ends of their careers usually take less money to win a ring or two. They don't go to Buffalo to do that. How any more rings is he looks g for?
Green Lightning Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 I believe the FO is comfortable with Mills at RT in the offense that it appears they are building. This move would make sense if we plan on going out and throwing the ball 35-45 times a game but from our FA acquisitions thus far, I think they'd rather save the cap space and work with what we we have Then the FO are the only people in WNY that is comfortable with Mills playing RT.
gr8billsfan Posted March 27, 2017 Author Posted March 27, 2017 Then the FO are the only people in WNY that is comfortable with Mills playing RT. +1 on that. LOL.
wilcoam Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Good thread, It makes too much sense, his age aside, he gets credit for being NE's best lineman in 2015 Unfort he didn't play a down last year However if he's healthy again he would be a humungous upgrade over Mills But it does not look like our Bills are specifically targeting starting players in FA, lol, let alone older veterans jc
cba fan Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 vet min would with vet cap relief would cost about same as a later draft pick so kick the tires.
