EersN'Bills Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 You're the best Ralph. Without you, there'd be no Bills. Thank you. RIP.
K-9 Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Thoughtful thread. World could use a few more Mr. Wilsons. Simply one of the nicest human beings you could ever hope to meet.
KellyToTasker Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 The best new guy thread yet....RIP Mr. Wilson!
AtlantaStampede Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Great post. The Bills haven't had the same feel since his passing. So appreciative for everything this man did for our beloved Bills and pro football in general. Proud he was our owner. RIP. Mr. Wilson. You are missed.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 ....everlasting legacy..... 1. Made sure Bills remained in Buffalo. 2. Mandated that his entire $1.2 BILLION be given away through his Foundation within 20 years.
BillsPride12 Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 The man kept his promise all those years, doing everything he could to keep the Bills in Buffalo. For that I will be forever grateful RIP Ralph, I miss ya

swnybillsfan Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 before his passing, i loved the man for keeping our Bills in Buffalo. after his passing, the stories of his generosity, kindness, and passion came out, and i felt a substantial sense of loss and pride. even now, when i think of all that Ralph C. Wilson JR, has given us, i can't help but feel a bit misty eyed. thank you Mr. Wilson.
C.Biscuit97 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Great thread and RIP. He kept a billion dollar business in economically depressed WNY.
frostbitmic Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 IIRC, MR. Wilson donated quite a bit of money to research of Spinal Cord injuries, that money may have been a key factor in Kevin Everett not kicking the bucket on Ralph's own turf. He never had to be as generous as he was but he had the means and the character to do so and left the world a better place.

billsfanmiami(oh) Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Cheers to Ralph. He kept our team in Buffalo and helped an awful lot of people along the way. He was a great man.

OldTimeAFLGuy Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 well said! ...just don't know how you deny and icon his due...Godspeed Mr.Wilson...........
machine gun kelly Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Cheers to Ralph. He kept our team in Buffalo and helped an awful lot of people along the way. He was a great man. Agreed. He came through on everything he promised and before the salary cap, spent money for those great Bills team. Yes, he was cheap with coaches and later meddled too much, but what an owner for Buffalo. He made sure the right owners took over via through his wishes, and Mary mad good on that incredible amount of money for two economically tough areas in Buffalo and Detroit. I'll always have a soft spot for. The Wilson family.
I'm Spartacus Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Thanks Bill. It is refreshing to read/see a "good news" post once in a while, instead of a beaten dead horse (drought) post. Ralph was a good dude, even though he had that cheap rap bestowed upon him.
