pkwwjd Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Drs. think Player are overweight Did anyone else see this? Wow, players are getting big ... how long and how much did they spend to come to that conclusion? Probably paid for by my insurance company, and they crunched the numbers at some secluded resort in St. Thomas.

Alaska Darin Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Could you imagine Sam Adams and big ted together? 257684 I don't think there's a bed that could hold that action. You're a sick man, John.
UHSLA Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 I don't think 56% comes even close to be considered "almost all."
udonkey Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 haha...I wonder what the percentage is of NFL fans?
pkwwjd Posted March 2, 2005 Author Posted March 2, 2005 I don't think 56% comes even close to be considered "almost all." 257766 According to the article there are different levels overweight (almost all) obese (56%) severely obese (almost half of that 56%) and ... morbidly obese
Kevbeau Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 BMI and other gov't weight standards completely disregard any sort of athletic competency. I'm 6', 230lbs with 12% bodyfat*, giving me a BMI of over 31, so I'm considered obese. I'll second jzmack's stance. I weightlift 4-5 times a week, play hockey three times and throw in a couple cardio days. BMI was created so someone could push their agenda. *Checked 2 mos ago right before Turkey Day so I'm not responsible for accuracy
