Threedollabills Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 I think he can still play corner in a zone. Nonetheless, if we got him for say 4mil, we would have a great leader in the secondary and even if his corner days are over he could easily switch to safety. What y'all think?

Marty McFly Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 if the price is right and we keep him in zone play I wouldnt be against it. We practically have no one there rn.
KD in CA Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 When was Revis ever a great leader? He's been a selfish malcontent his whole career. The last thing I want on my team is a guy like Revis when his skills are in sharp decline and he's forced to play for a fraction of the salary he's accustomed to seeing.
BillsFan17 Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 No denying what Revis was once upon a time. He doesn't have the ability IMO to switch to safety and be effective. Revis made a living on opponents hips and reading a route tree well. That diminished immensely over the years.

He's the one who wants to play for nothing. He gets paid either way. Otherwise I'd 100% agree.

Hardcore Bills Fan Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 wheres the proof that we will have a zone D. Dont tell me this great HC who has no experience will be another system coach instead of ummmmm I dont know building around the talent like New England does

The last thing you want on your team is Revis? You crazy. I like you, but you crazy. Edited March 25, 2017 by Fan boy '92
FireChan Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 But he won't play for nothing. Someone will need to give him a multi-year deal. That's not what he said.
JerseyBills Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Really? The last thing you want on your team is Revis. You crazy. I like you, but you crazy. Are you serious? We all know he isn't in his prime but like the OP said, it's a primarily zone defense ,so he can make up for the step he lost with his excellent technique and football i.q... Jets ran a primarily man D, so whether Safety or CB , I'd love to add Revis for the right price of course, not sure what you find so crazy about that?
Mickey Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Great idea. No better way to cash in our ticket to the bigs then signing a fading vet looking for one last paycheck. See: Harvin, Percy.
BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Most overrated CB ever. Let him play against us. Guy is toast
