Astrobot Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 J...Oh, you're a vicious one! Mark me down as "Yes."
Ramius Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 i'd say yes, but i know hes had some injury problems the past few years...and i think he missed a lot fo time with a neck injury and those are hard to come back from...
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Guy's got a lot of heart, I'll say that for him. Not sure if I'd be willing to dish out the cash for a 3rd WR until we can actually get a replacement for Jonas, a new LG and a TE upgrade already on roster. So, if by the end of this week we have Shelton, Vincent and Mili signed...then sure, bring on Joey J.
Buftex Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 In all seriousness, doesn't he have a rep as a major leauge jerk! Or am I confusing him with someone else?
Albany,n.y. Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 In all seriousness, doesn't he have a rep as a major leauge jerk! Or am I confusing him with someone else? 257582 I've never heard anything bad about him. He was a tragic figure a few years ago when he played in the Super Bowl and his son was dying.

He was a tragic figure a few years ago when he played in the Super Bowl and his son was dying. 257599 The only negative thing I ever heard about Joe J was that he was slow to pick up the game when he first came into the NFL. He really came on the last few years though.
Snorom Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 What do we do with Sam Aikens? 257578 Let him compete for the job.
JP-era Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 How about him as a 3rd option at WR 257559 I really like that idea!
Astrobot Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Sam Aiken is a good downfield blocker. Watch some of the tape--he's always getting in the D's way. Next year he'll start getting out of his own way. I think he'll step up.
LabattBlue Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 He has always had problems staying healthy, but if he could stay out of the trainers room, would be a perfect #3 WR. Career stats.... http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/12484
