BigdaddyinOrlando Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 (edited) been years since i started a topic but this intrigues me!! http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/cleveland-browns-trade-with-buffalo-bills-in-nfl-draft-032317 Edited March 23, 2017 by BigdaddyinOrlando
Woodman19 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 If you are going from 10 to 12, you need a hell of a lot more than a mid round pick included. You can hold that pick hostage with anyone else who wants a QB at that spot and see who pays up.
Mike in Horseheads Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 been years since i started a topic but this intrigues me!! http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/cleveland-browns-trade-with-buffalo-bills-in-nfl-draft-032317 Give me Josh Gordan, 12th pick and a 3rd or 4th nice. But better yet how about pick 33?
PRBills Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Idk, trading back 2 spaces only to aquire a 4th and a receiver who has only been able to play how many games since being drafted? I would expect much better compensation then that.
BigdaddyinOrlando Posted March 23, 2017 Author Posted March 23, 2017 I agree on the pick as it should be more, but was liking the thought of Gordon, obviously hoping for the best of him, paired up w Sammy.
BillsFan17 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Need more than that, and I don't understand the "we won't hesitate to take Howard."
thunderingsquid Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Take em to the cleaners, that would be fun. Â 2nd and 3rd round picks from here to eternity. Â Seriously, though, we got Bob Woods out of a trade down situation. I like our chances and am confident we'd get more than what Fox Sports projects in this scenario.
Beef Jerky Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Give me Josh Gordan, 12th pick and a 3rd or 4th nice. But better yet how about pick 33? You don't want Gordon
billsredneck1 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 ha..i stated this in my thread " if trubisky is there at 10" and i'm willing to bet that the browns and the bills deal. Â i hope we fleece them but that 1st pick in the 4th will most definitely be part of the deal and if it were up to me, that would be the perfect spot to nab chad kelly.....without feeling stupid but not losing him to another team at the same time. Â if we do end up with no.33 , trading out of that position could net us a couple extra picks as well. i'm hoping we trade down twice in the 1st.
Chuck Wagon Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 The Bears are locked in on Watson? I'm not sure any mock drafts have that connection.
Baba Booey Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 I would sign up for this, but not a third or fourth. I want one of those 2nd rounders. They have 2 or 3 I think.
BigdaddyinOrlando Posted March 23, 2017 Author Posted March 23, 2017 Please use more descriptive titles. I apologize, and I won't start another topic for another freaking 6 years. Good lord!
Hurricane Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Give me Josh Gordan, 12th pick and a 3rd or 4th nice. But better yet how about pick 33? 12th pick Joe Haden, and a 3rd..
goldenboy81 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 12th pick Joe Haden, and a 3rd.. That would be sweet
Mark Vader Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 12th pick, 2nd & a 4th, and you've got a deal.
PRBills Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Please use more descriptive titles. FTR OP's join date was in '04... he is one of yours, not a refugee.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Please use more descriptive titles. Agreed. I was heavily attacked for not doing so years ago.
Bronxbomber21 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 (edited) I was just reading this article and had to check out TBD. I would do that deal in a heartbeat if Gordon is reinstated. We would have our Wr 1B and a much needed pick and all they would have to do is drop back 2 spots. They would probably still get who they wanted at 12. Edited March 23, 2017 by Bronxbomber21
