Actually, the most decorated general of all time was likely Dugout Doug - over 100 service medals. Puller was only the most decorated Marine, I believe. The Marines made it out inflicting the highest casualty ratio on an enemy in history and destroying 7 entire enemy divisions in the process. Actually, that probably would have been the British at Rorke's Drift. But if you want to limit it to corps-level combat and above...it would be the Aussies in the Finnistere campaign.
