Beef Jerky
Unless, of course, we played their third string QB and the Pats then went on to win the Superbowl...but yeah...we showed them. funny when the Patriots win nobody says they just beat the backup quarterback
Formerly Allan in MD
Perhaps the Laughing Man got tired of howling at the Bills. One can only shake one's head so many times before the arthritis sets in. But it's a new season. And physical therapy helps; for some it's a shrink. PromoTheRobot
I'm not sure what's in Laurel, MD. I know Jimmy's is a hike (I'm coming from the Stafford area). The food is really good there: Beef on Weck, Sahlen's hot dogs, kielbasa and pierogies, Canadian beer. Plus, for Bills games, the bar is decorated in Bills gear, plays the Bills shout song whenever the Bills score. It's a great atmosphere for Bills fans (especially when they're winning). For anyone that goes, I'd recommend getting there before 11:30 on game days. I think it was called the California Ale House or something similar. I was visiting Maryland ages ago and Scott (SDS) ran a backers group in Laurel there.
plenzmd1
Exiles on U St (where Stetson's used to be) and Grand Central in Adams Morgan are both Bills bars. I personally would avoid Bills bars b/c, quite frankly, there is no place darker on a Sunday in December than a Bills bar when they are out of the hunt. Been to Exiles and talked to the owner...nice guy. Flys a Bills flag outside the place. Only went once, but i don't remember him having "Buffalo" food. He did have some great smoked wings which they then flash fry...pretty damn good. BTW, i was there on a Tuesday night...not a game day. BringBackFlutie
Jimmys old towne tavern is the place to go in the DC area. It's also the closest to the city if you don't have a bar you like downtown.
Saxum
Yes meaningless especially for closet Pats* fans. No such thing as a meaningless Bills win over the Pats. Unless, of course, we played their third string QB and the Pats then went on to win the Superbowl...but yeah...we showed them. Like I said "Yes meaningless especially for closet Pats* fans" and I do not think you understand what word "we" means since it does not include many on this board. Jimmys old towne tavern is the place to go in the DC area. It's also the closest to the city if you don't have a bar you like downtown. It is my bar but due to working long shift on Saturdays I often just listen to radio these days. Not feeling physically up to driving on Sundays these days. Dorkington
I've been to Grand Central a handful of times, good people, just not a whole lot of seating.
BuffaloHokie13
Mackey's Public House took over, and they are going to be the location for the DC Bills Backers still.
Saxum
It is good to not lose Bills Bars.
