YoloinOhio Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 (edited) Because he would still get his 6 mill gtd from Jets @rapsheet @RossTuckerNFL he'll play for the minimum and the jets'll pay 6M @rosstucker Wow. Ian says Revis will play for the minimum this year meaning he'll essentially play for free. Changes everything. @courtneyfallon_ Rex Ryan told me at Daytona he warned Revis he's foolish to play CB at 240lb, 31 y/o, think he can compete. This is the gut check he needed. Rex is the man for gut checks. Last we checked his is approaching pre-op dimensions, by the way...
Beef Jerky Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 No thanks Revis got beat by WRs that are no longer on their team... Aka bad WRs.
CommonCents Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 He was fat last year, he already lost 10 pounds. IF he wants to play, he will play well. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to a contender and bounce back

Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Well now that he said he will play for vet min, I'm sure he will have his choice of teams CBF
Royale with Cheese Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 His dream would be to play for the Steelers.
plenzmd1 Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 saw a clip today with him saying "dream come true to play for the Stillers"
YoloinOhio Posted March 16, 2017 Author Posted March 16, 2017 saw a clip today with him saying "dream come true to play for the Stillers"if they don't sign him with their trash secondary, you know he's done
Augie Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 I would rather see him tear his ACL. I don't even wish that on Brady. (But I'm OK with him taking a severe beating in the pocket!)

CommonCents Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 For Revis, if there's no payday, how motivated will he be? I'm guessing between last season and his offseason embarrassment maybe he wants to chase a redemption story? I don't want him here nor do I think he would come, he will chase a ring somewhere. If Butler leaves NE then he could go there, Steelers etc. Ring chasing. He is still getting paid bonus money right?
Beef Jerky Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 I don't even wish that on Brady. (But I'm OK with him taking a severe beating in the pocket!) It is ok I can be evil enough for he both of us.
