JohnBonhamRocks
A frequent complaint from Bills fans is that our players are more injured/unavailable than those on the other teams. I'm not going to dive into whether or not that's true here, but thought it would be interesting to see if we are targeting players who have a history of durability/availability. Take a look. Mike Tolbert has played (and these will go in reverse chronological order): 16, 16, 8, 16, 16, 15, 15, 16, 13 Patrick DiMarco: 16, 16, 16, 14, 5 Vlad Ducasse: 10, 16, 13, 16, 16, 16, 2 Steven Hauschka: 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 9 Jordan Poyer: 6, 14, 16, 3, 9 Micah Hyde: 16, 15, 16, 16 Philly Brown: 16, 14, 13 Ryan Davis: 9, 14, 16, 7, 1 Jeremy Butler: 4, 8 Jordan Mills: 16, 10, 13, 16 Ramon Humber: 16, 14, 15, 16, 13, 13, 3, 2, 16 Lorenzo Alexander: 16, 16, 16, 3, 16, 16, 16, 16, 15, 13 Not comprehensive, but a lot of 16s. Especially impressive are Tolbert, DiMarco, Hyde, Humber, and Alexander. Really the only disappointing ones are Poyer, Davis, and Butler - all guys who don't figure to be more than back-ups and role players anyways. How much of a priority do you think durability/availability is to OBD when evaluating potential FAs? Does anything interesting stand out to you? DDD
Gillmore was durable. Woods was durable. Goodwin was a china doll. They gone.
JohnBonhamRocks
Gilmore: 15, 12, 14, 11, 16 Woods: 14, 16, 14, 13 Goodwin: 15, 2, 10, 12 I'd say DDD is accurate. And they're definitely gone.
Green Lightning
I would have bet the farm that Goodwin would have finished last year on IR. Finally stays healthy and he's gone.
Manther
Gillmore was durable. Woods was durable. Goodwin was a china doll. They gone. Gilmore and Woods played a lot of games. Not a lot very healthy.

wilcoam
Interesting post Yes, I would agree that DW is out there signing alot of very historically durable backup players That will surely help with regard to having much better depth in 2017 and beyond However not so much with regard to fielding the best possible 22, lol Unfort more talent left or was released than we have gained so far jc
