Beef Jerky Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Mahomes is not worthy of a first, he's a third also So that means you would need to grab him in the second.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Kelly here in Buffalo would be a disaster for both sides. Way too much pressure on the kid having that name, combined with a known partier being surrounded by his hometown buddies. Why is every other home town kid fine but it's too much pressure for Kelly ?? this just an excuse for guys who just don't like him. also I'm sure he old friends will turn him into a raving lunatic
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 .....he's better off selling on-line "Anger Management" courses for Fred Pryor.....yet another provocative Chad Kelly thread......

Nearly every player in the draft is a gamble For a team that drafts Aaron Maybin #1 can surely waste a third
Mr. WEO Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 A Chad Kelly thread you say? Let's talk about him you say?
Buffalo Barbarian Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 So that means you would need to grab him in the second. or not at all.
Klaista2k Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 I definitely think Kelly would be worth drafting. Bud unfortunately Whaley is our GM and I just don't see him taking him. He'll probably draft some **** prospect QB instead...
HOUSE Posted March 14, 2017 Author Posted March 14, 2017 .....he's better off selling on-line "Anger Management" courses for Fred Pryor.....yet another provocative Chad Kelly thread...... Sorry, haven't been around.....sorry
Beef Jerky Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 or not at all. Yea keep the number of QBs drafted since Kelly retired at 5. That way the Bills can NEVER find a QB.
cd1 Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 For me character is always a tough issue when dealing with projecting a player's future success... First of all let me say this,...his talent is undeniable. With that said, I think Buffalo could be the best place for him in the entire league with Jim and the rest of the family to keep him in order and remind him what type of young man he needs to be to fulfill his dream. Not sure if the third is the right time, but I believe his talent is way above the 5th round value. Here is the thing - WHY haven't the Kelly family thought about keeping the kid on the straight and narrow LONG before now? Do you think this has never occured to them? Perhaps the kid is impulsive and entitled and has been allowed to be this way his whole life. Perhaps AWAY from family is where he would have the best chance. That is if there is any hope at all. The head thing IS a MAJOR issue.

Well, could be another wasted talent............the kid is obviously spoiled
Blokestradamus Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 https://www.seccountry.com/mississippi/fox-sports-bruce-feldman-chad-kellys-baggage-considerably-worse-reported I've heard some stories about the kid but nothing that I'd consider as being worse than the AK incident. Although where the NFL draw moral objection has long been something that's kept me awake at night. I'm interested to see the "truth" with Chad, if worse does exist.
TheElectricCompany Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 The whole situation smells a bit like Todd Marinovich...
HOUSE Posted March 14, 2017 Author Posted March 14, 2017 (edited) The whole situation smells a bit like Todd Marinovich... Or Johnny Football but that guy is really nuts Edited March 14, 2017 by THE SLAMMER
JohnBonhamRocks Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Would not be opposed to using our 6th round pick.
Samwell Tarly Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Does Dominic Hasek have a son or nephew who plays goalie? The Sabres could use one....😉
Real McClappy Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Its a huge gamble but some team will take him IMO How can you win if you never place the bet? I'm all for a 3rd or 4th rounder on him.
cd1 Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Or Johnny Football but that guy is really nuts Johnny Football 2.0 I is SAD indeed to see talented people with all the stuff to make it big EXCEPT they can't get their head on straight.
Boatdrinks Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Does Dominic Hasek have a son or nephew who plays goalie? The Sabres could use one.... So because he is related to JK, he's not any good as a pro prospect. Got it.
Elite Poster Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 From a board that just threw a 100 page fit about potentially losing compensatory picks for next year, drafting Chadwick "Self-Destruct Mode" Kelly as high as round 3 is pretty styoopid.
