YoloinOhio Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 @jonscottTV Every NFL team is represented here at Ole Miss Pro Day, including the #Bills, who appear to have sent one person.
Mad Mike Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 I say we wait for a guy with the last name of "Brady" and trade up and draft him #1 overall and go to the Super Bowl every year!
Antonio Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 If the Bills really like him I don´t see why not take him in the 3rd. His attitud remainds me a lot of Derek Carr.
PIZ Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 I don't know many college students who didn't say or do stupid things in college. It's called maturity, and it takes longer for some to get it. I can't believe some of the stupid things I did in college. Why not draft the kid? Can you imagine how painful it would be if the Patriots draft him, and he becomes the heir apparent to Brady, after they trade Garropolo for picks? Something like that would be something Belicheck and Kraft would love to do. Also keep in mind that all draft picks are a gamble. Look at 2013. Not 1 of those draft picks is still on the team.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Is CK even able to throw much or is he still very limited due to rehab??
Tuco Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Didn't read through the entire thread so not sure if this was mentioned, but has Uncle Jim come out in support for his troubled nephew? If not, that's about as damning as it gets, no? https://www.facebook.com/JimKellyInc/photos/a.186809248005235.46888.186805951338898/1548893341796812/?type=3&theater

Disagree with much of this, but man oh man, 2013 was a terrible draft class!
YoloinOhio Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 @nealmccready Chad Kelly threw 12 or 13 balls before shutting down with an apparent hand/wrist/finger injury at Ole Miss' pro day.
PromoTheRobot Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 (edited) @nealmccready Chad Kelly threw 12 or 13 balls before shutting down with an apparent hand/wrist/finger injury at Ole Miss' pro day. Did he punch anyone/anything recently? Edited April 3, 2017 by PromoTheRobot
2003Contenders Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Lots of nostalgia for the name Kelly -- but given the off-field issues, on-field decision making and injury situation I still think there is a good chance he goes undrafted.
psuscott16 Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 @nealmccready Chad Kelly threw 12 or 13 balls before shutting down with an apparent hand/wrist/finger injury at Ole Miss' pro day. Does he get hurt as much as it feels he does?
Logic Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 If his last name wasn't Kelly, no Bills fan would have any interest in him whatsoever. That's all I'll say.If he lasts until the 7th, take a flyer. Otherwise, stay away.
YoloinOhio Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 How did he hurt his hand if he's just throwing vs air??
26CornerBlitz Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 @JonScottTV Chad Kelly felt sharp pain in right wrist after just 17 throws. X-Rays negative. Taking some time now to see how it feels & may still throw
YoloinOhio Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 (edited) @rapsheet #OleMiss QB Chad Kelly cut his Pro Day short after re-aggravating a wrist injury suffered in training. He's weighing whether he can return I think Chad's draft stock and result will be similar to that of Zach Mettenberger. 6th round. Edited April 3, 2017 by YoloinOhio
YoloinOhio Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 @tonypauline Teammates have told people the wrist injury to Kelly looks significant http://draftanalyst.com/pro-day-april-3-mississippi
