YoloinOhio Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 @adamschefter Chargers receiver Jeremy Butler is signing a one-year deal today with the Bills, per source.
ricojes Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 (edited) And everyone was worried about the receivers...relax! Edited March 13, 2017 by ricojes
Matt_In_NH Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 There is gonna be a big opportunity for a little known WR to have a lot of playing time in Buffalo at WR, hopefully someone steps up big.
HurlyBurly51 Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 If he's anything like Jerry Butler, we're good!
Captain Murica Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Good size, 6'2-3" 210+ pounds, not much else on him besides being UDFA. I wonder why we haven't brought back Justin Hunter yet..
Blokestradamus Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Backup boundary receiver that could get a little slot action in certain down/distances. I'd expect vet minimum(ish) and an outside chance at the 53. Liked him a lot at UT Martin but not followed him as a pro much.
PirateHookerMD Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 No Keenan Allan. No Stevie Johnson, No woodhead, and this kid couldnt get a ball?
JohnBonhamRocks Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 gotta be to lure his relative, Malcolm, away from NE...
Eric Moulds on my A** Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 With other players available, I can't say I like this signing. The Chargers were banged up bad at WR last year and this guy didn't manage to get playing time. I don't know much about him but his inactivity last year doesn't bode well for success here. But hey... they unearthed the Lorax and it takes talent to make an NFL squad so, I could very well be wrong.
wilcoam Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 I like the depth singings, its bodies that can catch the ball, works well for #4 and #5 WR's But lets's be honest Its not like any of these guys are legit NFL #3 and up WR's We still currently have one of the worst WR corps in the NFL And its not any upgrade over last years talent But yes, its still early in FA and there's the draft A Mike Williams and or Corey Davis changes the entire picture jc
Captain Murica Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 #10 pick has to be wr right I hope so... but depends on if Corey Davis or Mike Williams are still there at 10.
BillsMafiaEP Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 if this isnt a clear sign we are going wr or howard at 10 then i dont know what is..
Success Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 if this isnt a clear sign we are going wr or howard at 10 then i dont know what is... Depends. We might end up signing even more guys before the draft. A lot still has to play out.
Eric Moulds on my A** Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 There goes another comp pickGatorade's better than you.

Add Clay into the mix and we'll be fine.
JimKellyTryouts Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 (edited) There goes another comp pick Sarcasm/joking aside, just like Philly Brown, the Chargers didn't choose to tender this guy, so this won't affect the formula This serves as a PSA for all potential future whiners Edited March 13, 2017 by JimKellyTryouts
