ExiledInIllinois Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Who's ready! Ain't skeered! We grew up in BFLo!
RaoulDuke79 Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 (edited) Man....I can deal with it, but I just don't feel like it. Once the clocks are sprung ahead, I don't want to deal with any more snow. C'mon St.Patrick's and March madness. Edited March 13, 2017 by RaoulDuke79
Buffalo Barbarian Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Was warmer in January, winter needs to get its act together and exit stage left.
row_33 Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Keep the longjohns handy until Canada's Victoria Day has passed. Or as we call it, the May two-four weekend as you drink a case of 24 beers to celebrate.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 What winter? I've seen a total of 2 inches thus far.
Joe Miner Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 What winter? I've seen a total of 2 inches thus far. That's what she said.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 ouch The forecast for the DC area - 3 inches in DC up to 15 inches where I live in the Shenandoah Valley Blue Ridge Mountains region. I smell a work from home snow day.
ExiledInIllinois Posted March 13, 2017 Author Posted March 13, 2017 Just a dusting here on grassy areas, shaded surfaces... Most melted on roadways... First measurable snow since first week of January. We seem to be out of the woods for season, solar radiation too strong for this time of year.
145B4IDIE Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Took a deep breath there. Thought I read 'Whitner"!
ExiledInIllinois Posted March 13, 2017 Author Posted March 13, 2017 Took a deep breath there. Thought I read 'Whitner"! That would suck! Winter we can deal with!
Buffaloed in Pa Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Just finished plowing after my work-out. Sux. Plow broke...now going to get it welded in 45 minutes. Getting ready for some more . I hate winter.
ExiledInIllinois Posted March 13, 2017 Author Posted March 13, 2017 We do have a Lake Effect Warning in effect... LoL... We usually get them in March or late season... 5+ inches. The warning says: "...commerce could be severely impacted..." Are you kidding me?... 5-8" in narrow, 10 mile wide bands through Wednesday. And, that is a big IF! I don't think we even had 20" this year. Have they ever been to micro-climate BFLo? Commerce stays open! These warnings are getting to be a bigger and bigger joke!

145B4IDIE Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 This probably belongs in the beer thread but, I'm ready!
