This led to the creation and subsequent rise of reality cooking shows like Chopped and Iron Chef USA.

After the covert mission was done, Ballard's team had only 12 days to find the Titanic. 2

CNN also dropped the best sports hi-lite package after 9/11, the only show that gave me US College hoops and football hi-lites, still can't get them 17 years on...

What's really interesting is that he probably wouldn't have found Titanic without looking for Thresher and Scorpion first. The experience finding the subs led him to change his search plan for the Titanic. 1 2
