SectionC3 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I loved that so many here said he was a one hit wonder his rookie year. Then cousins came up and everyone wanted us to trade for this dumpster. I like being right. I'd take ej or kaeo over griffin This. PFT has reported that the Jets are interested in Griffin. Normally I would be thrilled that a division rival is interested in the worst starting quarterback, if not the worst quarterback, in the league. Then the "suck for Sam" thought occurred to me. Anyone who has delusions about griffin should read Chris Colley's takedown piece from a few years ago. It says all anyone needs to know about griffin.
Rodrigo Borgia Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 To think that a plurality of fans wanted to give away several years of 1st round picks to trade up for Griffin back in 2012.
prissythecat Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 But but. RG III had that transcendent rookie season. Kick the tires on the guy!
Mr. WEO Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Well. He had a playoff birth unlike Tyrod It was a playoff abortion. To think that a plurality of fans wanted to give away several years of 1st round picks to trade up for Griffin back in 2012. Link?
TheElectricCompany Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 (edited) It's too bad Dan Snyder coddled him and he shredded his knee. He clearly was a really special player his rookie year. Edited March 10, 2017 by TheElectricCompany

The Jets are also interested in Cutler, which suggests that they think they can win with him. (I'm not sure why they'd think that. I'm in Bears country and everyone around here is glad he's out of Chicago.) If the Jets wanted to tank, I suspect they'd just start one of the QBs they already have. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000792167/article/jay-cutler-jets-have-mutual-interest-in-one-another Edited March 10, 2017 by WhoTom
Formerly Allan in MD Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Thank you Mike Shanahan. Ruined the guy.
Beef Jerky Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Not to be THAT guy, but if you could bring him in at the vet minimum as a backup, would you do it? You don't want a cancer. Thank you Mike Shanahan. Ruined the guy. No he didn't...
prissythecat Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Thank you Mike Shanahan. Ruined the guy. No. RG III was never a good QB.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I wanted to see him succeed. Too bad. ....too bad his hat size swelled to 14 7/8 and his jaw became unhinged after one season.....maybe Snyder brings 'em back as the Deadskins' new GM...stay tuned............
WGBillsFan Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 No thanks....he is one shot away from a career ending injury....if his career isn't over already.
klos63 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 No. RG III was never a good QB. He had a very good rookie season and he was exciting to watch. It's a shame he's fallen so fast.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Rumor has it Jests are interested ...they have their eye on THE big prize.............. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, there's mutual interest between the Jets and free agent Jay Cutler. 33-year-old Cutler isn't a long-term fix, but he'd be a satisfactory one- or two-year bridge before the Jets turn the offense over to a young franchise quarterback (not Bryce Petty or Christian Hackenberg). The Jets remain in the mix for Trevor Siemian if the Broncos make him available. Gang Green could also kick the tires on free agent Colin Kaepernick at some point. Mar 10 - 9:27 AM Source: NFL.com
