26CornerBlitz Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 @caplannfl #Bills RFA G Ryan Groy has drawn interest from at least 4 teams, sources said. A few of them said they think he could come in and start.
Bray Wyatt Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I feel like depending on what is offered to him, perhaps we match and release wood
John from Riverside Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 We must be doing so badly in talent evaluation for other teams wanting to come in and try to take our players
FreddieJizzle22 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 They better stay away from our Ryan Groy, I tell ya.
Big C Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Lol if we signed Ducasse because we knew he was going to get offers... Guess we'll have to see how it plays out.
3rdand12 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 They better stay away from our Ryan Groy, I tell ya. Yeppers!! Not surprised actually
26CornerBlitz Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 Lol if we signed Ducasse because we knew he was going to get offers... Guess we'll have to see how it plays out. Vlad is bad.
Mikie's Bills Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 We must be doing so badly in talent evaluation for other teams wanting to come in and try to take our players Wouldn't it be a more of a talent utilization issue? It was good talent evaluation that led us to signing guys like Hogan, Groy, Gillislee, Z. Brown, Alexander, trading for Hughes, etc. Having teams value your players highly is a pretty good thing, imo. Other teams may think that our players are underutilized or not used correctly in some cases or fit their system better.
Cash Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 What level was Groy tendered at? I'm guessing the low level, which would give no compensation if he leaves.
Bray Wyatt Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 What level was Groy tendered at? I'm guessing the low level, which would give no compensation if he leaves. This is correct, only gillislee got a draft pick associated with him (a 5th I believe)
Mark Vader Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Groy has only been in the league for 3 years. It's not surprising that other teams would have interest in him.
Big C Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Vlad is bad. For real. Again, would have been easier to give him a second round tender instead of sign a bad player. But I can't say I have any idea what their plan is here.

YoloinOhio Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Match it and release Wood.Wood is better than Groy imo
boyst Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Wood is better than Groy imohe is. But bang for buck I want groy. We can trade wood for even a 4th to a team in need at OL or lb depth
Royale with Cheese Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 If Groy can play RT...that would be a big need.
BuffAlone Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 If Groy can play RT...that would be a big need.I hope we can keep him. Good versatility, young, cheap. I'm thinking they would try him at RT if they can't upgrade some other way,and still use him anywhere else a sudden need came up
Woodman19 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 he is. But bang for buck I want groy. We can trade wood for even a 4th to a team in need at OL or lb depth I doubt we could get anything due to the cap hit.
GG Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I doubt we could get anything due to the cap hit. The trading team will only take on his salary of $4mil.
