If everything was equal (like no injuries for anyone and pay) then yes I would rather take the former over the latter, but seeing as they aren't, these were the right moves imo

Dorkington Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I'd say we upgraded Safety (Aaron didn't provide a lot of utility lately due to injury), and got a lot worse at CB. If Seymour takes a step in the right direction and we draft another good CB, we'll be ok.

Well... 200 yard rushing games certainly don't help. The corners played poorly to start, they rounded into a bit better form but then we were trotting out terrible safeties. In the 2nd half of the year we couldn't generate any pressure. Dareus contract is bad if he's good... and top 5 worst in the league if he continues to be as bad as he was last year. Guy needs to be a major contributor to justify that pay day - as he's hamstringing our ability to sign people. Edited March 10, 2017 by dneveu

And to your point which has no relevance to how the bills did on D, the Falcons had the best O in the league that is why they got to where they were
