I don't think many GM's or coaches in the NFL would trade Stephon Gilmore and Aaron Williams for Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer.

Appears? It is a tire fire

However be ready to be flamed. The Rose color glasses of "no matter who the Bills sign it is an awesome signing" are out in full force last two days

Umm we didn't trade them for one another, and we are not done with it yet. If everything was equal (like no injuries for anyone and pay) then yes I would rather take the former over the latter, but seeing as they aren't, these were the right moves imo

The secondary doesn't appear to be weaker. It is and the dropoff is Huuuuuge.

For,those that don't think the team will miss Gilmore (and others) they are in for a surprise.

Darby is now their top DB. How was his play last year?

And yet, there is almost no way the overall D can be worse than last year.

How was Rex so bad with such an awesome secondary?

This is basically how I am looking at it to

Darby won't be on an island like he was last year with our zone based scheme.

I'd say we upgraded Safety (Aaron didn't provide a lot of utility lately due to injury), and got a lot worse at CB. If Seymour takes a step in the right direction and we draft another good CB, we'll be ok.

We still had a better D then the Falcons last year. They didn't do nothing, though. Lol.

Well... 200 yard rushing games certainly don't help. The corners played poorly to start, they rounded into a bit better form but then we were trotting out terrible safeties. In the 2nd half of the year we couldn't generate any pressure.

Dareus contract is bad if he's good... and top 5 worst in the league if he continues to be as bad as he was last year. Guy needs to be a major contributor to justify that pay day - as he's hamstringing our ability to sign people.

Ever watch him in FSU in Zone coverage? Just laughable

Williams is way better player than Hyde. Problem was the concussion concerns.

You lost me. Are we signing Matt Ryan? So you want a ****ty D? Confused.

What do the Falcons have to do with anything? And to your point which has no relevance to how the bills did on D, the Falcons had the best O in the league that is why they got to where they were

How much did we get out of AW last year? My god, people....

AW is a better player than Hyde

Just the neck is a major concern obviously

Lets let McD get all the pieces in place before we deem this years D a failure in March. They almost can't be worse than last year.
