Guessing game

Recommended Posts

I have yet to open OC's new thread call interesting something. I thought of a fun game. If you haven't opened it answer these two question before you do:

1. Will the O P be too long for you to bother reading it.

2. Interesting is a word in the title, but will it be interesting?

Bonus: how many times will the words I, me, mine or some variation thereof appear in the OP?

I'd ask your guess about whether he'd talk down to people but he didn't even get out of the thread title and he already did.

Once you go into the thread here are two more questions:

3. Was it actually too long?

4. Was it actually interesting?

My guesses:

1. Absolutely

2. A tiny little bit....like a Dilbert strip written in War and Peace format.

Bonus: more than Bruce's number but less than Andre's.

I'll come back and answer 3 and 4.

1 Yes

2 Somewhat

Bonus I don't read thru all of his posts so cannot come up with an accurate count. But I will venture a guess that on a per word basis, significantly lower than an Obama soliloquy.

3 Yes

4 Somewhat

Bonus: Eric Moulds

I'm back and wow!

3. The OP, although it certainly could have been written more clearly, was not all that long. This is especially true if you strip out the part slamming everyone, with a special focus on....me....I think. The first reply made up for that and then some.

4. Disappointingly, not even a little because a liberal, a conservative and a libertarian, all would have asked the man if he was ok first. It is a borderline instinctive response. What's next? A thread about what will happen if these three guys drop an anvil from a barn?

Bonus: I didn't bother because the OP was short but that reply that I ignored? It must have been roughly equal to the average number of salt grains in a little packet.

I just answer #1 for all his thread. And the answer is always yes so I don't even bother. I skip past any overly long posts.

They are third cousins twice removed.

Horseshit. They are twins, but not identical. Crayonz grew up in Idaho with his father who was in a militia. 4mer grew up in Lethbridge, Alberta with his mother but now resides in Key West with his really good buddy Tracy. The reason he is a former performer is that he doesn't do those things anymore.

This is beginning to look like a feasible premise for a great reality show. Eccentric characters and the whacky situations they get themselves into. Is Tracy a male? If so can it be assumed they practice an alternative lifestyle since they live together in Key West? If so this would be better pitched to Bravo.

Well, Tracy could be a man or a woman and there are some straight people in Key West. The important thing to take notice of here is the fact that his mother is Canadian and her brothers are bald. (baldness is inherited from the mother's side) If I remember correctly he had a favorite uncle who died tragically. I wonder if he was bald?

geeze this show practically writes itself. So many layers. They go to Canada for vacation to visit the mom and encounter all kinds of silliness. Think of the goofy accents at a Tim Hortons or Harvey's. Or drunken ice fishing fun as they drive their rented suv out on the ice! Or maybe just intoxicated night time snowmobiling. Endless plot lines and I haven't even thought of any Quebec angle yet.
