CanadianFan Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Tyrod made an appearance on NFL Network. In his reasons for coming back to Buffalo he mentioned the talent surrounding him. I thought it was interesting that he started with "Clay", then went on to mention Watkins, LeSean and the O line. It's interesting to me that in his comments he mentioned Clay first. Are they tight? Or is Clay needing some love and recognition.
C.Biscuit97 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 (edited) It's his way of making up to him for all the times he missed him wide open this year. Edited March 10, 2017 by C.Biscuit97
BuffaloBud420 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 He came back cause their was not much interest from other teams.
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Probably because Sammy has visibly disrespected him on the field shaking his head, waving his hands etc after Taylor opts not to throw his way.
CanadianFan Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 Or maybe Clay's sore that Tyrod hardly targeted Clay even though he is potentially his safety blanket? For a guy who throws short passes he didn't use his TEs all that much.
Marty McFly Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 this can only be good news. I really hope Tyrod starts trusting himself and our WR/TE core more, or whats left of it.
LEBills Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Cuz they finally hit their stride together the end of last year. The last three games Tyrod started, Clay had 18 catches, 209 yards and 4 touchdowns.
John from Riverside Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 He came back cause their was not much interest from other teams. prove it
FishSquisher Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Actually, I think you misheard. He mentioned Sammy first, then Clay. So it means nothing because it didn't happen.

QuoteTheRaven83 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 He came back cause their was not much interest from other teams. Really?? If he became a FA, he would've been the best FA QB on the market. He would've had plenty of interest.
John from Riverside Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Prove otherwise I dont have to......nfl analysts were making the case for me. All you have is your opinion that your stating as fact.
hondo in seattle Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 He came back cause their was not much interest from other teams. Tyrod wasn't a free agent and other teams were not allowed to show interest. He's under contract. If he had been a free agent, he would have received a lot of interest. QBs with NFL ability are rare. Even middling QBs command a lot of money and are much sought after by teams with bad QBs.

Reports were swirling that IF released,Cle and others were to show interest.which may be tampering in its own somehow?? But the fact remains,he wasn't a FA so no teams could make offers
Chandler#81 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Really?? If he became a FA, he would've been the best FA QB on the market. He would've had plenty of interest. Agreed. Plus, he was still a Bill under contract. If we released him, we wouldn't have been able to match any offer, imo.
Maury Ballstein Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Really?? If he became a FA, he would've been the best FA QB on the market. He would've had plenty of interest. Ladies and gentlemen. We are all sold out of the Simien and Tannenhill models. Can I interest you in Taylor?
8-8 Forever? Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 (edited) He came back cause their was not much interest from other teams. that can be the only reason. he screwed himself financially if there was actually a lot of interest out there. the Bills are where NFL careers go to die. every player in the league knows that. you only go to the Bills if they overpay you or you are on your way out of the league, or you're unlucky enough to be drafted by them. truth hurts, but look at the FA ( in and out) history of this franchise, specifically the legions of pro bowl players who left after their rookie contract expired.
