mead107 Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 In Schenectady great flats brewing company started last year. Will have to try it out soon
The Poojer Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 there is a sour event today at a brewery near me, Free Will, they make great beers. I am not much of a sour guy, but everytime I try one, i love them, in fact had 2 berliner wiesses yesterday and enjoyed them immensely. I will report back if i wind up going 38 minutes ago, plenzmd1 said: Has this to start the night last night..had about 6 oz and could not take anymore, and I love sours The Nugget was very good!

If you get the chance to get a glass of this, i highly recommend trying(and i also recommend if you do get some. Order a glass of this and another beer, let the CBS warm up a bit while you drink the other beer) Was wandering through a Rouses the other day and out of the blue noticed 12 bombers of this on the shelf. Never would have expected to see so many in one place so far from the release date. Bought them out. Love this beer. Don’t even have to chill it. It may be second only to Bourbon County Stout for me in barrel aged beer. 1

I had one of those drinking before sunup days yesterday....stopped by the wing bowl at 615AM per my boss' request, then was in line for 7AM groundhog day beer and breakfast event at a great beer spot in NE Philly. Kind of funny when your drinking day ends at 9AM, and when i say 'ends' it simply meant i needed to get a midday nap in to meet friends out at 4. This was after being at a Greensky Bluegrass concert at Fillmore Philly until 1AM the night before......

Fadingpain Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 From the glorious 7-1 match from a few years ago.
plenzmd1 Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 (edited) I am having one of these before we head for the evening. I actually can enjoy one or two a week. Certainly not everyday, but good cheap beer! Edited February 9, 2018 by plenzmd1

The Poojer Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Went up to Easton today to check out the beer scene. Søle and two rivers. Pretty good beer. Biggest bonus was coming across from the jersey side, I found a white castle. Good lord is that quality eats
The Poojer Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 (edited) Drove up to Other Half in Brooklyn on Friday as they had Monkish from Torrence CA. Come in for a tap takeover and collab release. Monkish was on my list of must try beers and it’s only released at their brew house. So glad I took the couple hour venture Edited February 25, 2018 by The Poojer
plenzmd1 Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 Had one of these last night, and enjoyed it. Heading to Veil for the first time today for some day drinking

I’ve heard rumors about it, but haven’t been able to find it until last night. Apparently, Magic Hat releases a limited edition raspberry stout every year around the holidays. My beer guy only got 12 four packs, and I got the last one this afternoon. Going to give it a try tonight. i have been drinking stouts all winter. victory makes a Storm King Imperial Stout that is incredible. Long Trail's Unearthed Stout is another great one. a couple years ago i had a Magic Hat Vanilla Stout that was very, very good.
