boyst Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 because its more important for DB's to tackle than cover, can he tackle? on a serious note... i'm digesting a lot here. if he is to be a free safety for us than i am not as favorable as him being a strong safety unless a few other perimeters change. i need more details but as is, right now, i'd rather someone else play fs.
Chuck Wagon Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 He's a versatile player, but he was the 6th best DB on the Packers last year. They have a good young secondary, but we are basically paying a backup from a good team to be a surefire starter on our team, usually a cardinal sin in FA. He fills a needed role though.

In my day, corners were guys like Dick Butkus!
Chuck Wagon Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 It appears he can tackle and do it very well. He was the Packers 2nd worst run defender last year. If we wanted a safety who could tackle, we should have gotten in on Cyprien.
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 good signing. some real positives in the last couple days, I can dig it!
Capt.Midnite Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Good signing. Let's us be a bit more versatile in the draft coming up. And Hola, BBMB vets and to the gracious hosts of TwoBillsDrive! Went to log in a couple days ago and found out what went down. Glad to be back on a board and talking the Bills again.
Eric Moulds on my A** Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Didnt think these rumors would come true, happy they did!
BillsfanAZ Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 This is a great signing. I have always liked him with the Packers.....made a lot of plays.

ndirish1978 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I do. You obviously don't I can see you're off to a stellar start here. All opinion, no substance or facts
indiragandhi'sthong Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 To me, It seems like coach Mc Dermott he is trying hard to bring in toigh, character players from organizations that are used to winning. Green bay , Atlanta , Carolina , etc. if you want to change culture that's a good place to start.
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 In my day, corners were guys like Dick Butkus!I like players who are on a mission to win and go all out.
BillsFan4 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I like this Hyde signing. Very unique, versatile player. http://www.espn.com/blog/green-bay-packers/post/_/id/37751/incomparable-micah-hyde-will-cash-in-with-packers-or-someone-else?ex_cid=espnapi_public Poyer is another guy who can play S and CB and even returned some punts early in his career. Looks like maybe McDermott likes those types of players.
BuffaloBud420 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 (edited) I can see you're off to a stellar start here. All opinion, no substance or facts Facts that he was the 2nd worst tackler on the packers, a liability in coverage, Packers had one of worse secondarys on NFL. Edited March 9, 2017 by BuffaloBud420
Big C Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I do. You obviously don't Scale of 4 to 20, how 420'd are you right now?
Andrew Son Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I do. You obviously don'tYou may want to switch to a sativa on game day
C.Biscuit97 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I like players who are on a mission to win and go all out. Apparently the best team in the NFL thought Gilmore played to win.
