YoloinOhio Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 (edited) They spent $16 mill and a 2017 4th round pick on a 2nd round draft pick a year from now. Edited March 9, 2017 by YoloinOhio
Chuck Wagon Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 If the Browns use the extra 2nd round pick as more ammo to land Cousins or Jimmy G, it's a smart move. If they plan on going forward with Brock & Kessler at QB, yeesh.
CommonCents Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 they paid big for that 2nd Rd pick and got a useless QB They have to get to the salary cap floor, they aren't winning this year. That money is better spent acquiring a high pick than it is over paying some scrub just to hit the floor. It's forward thinking, I know that's a foreign idea around Buffalo.
BillsFan2313 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Texans also get Cleveland 4th, in exchange for their 6th.
BuffaloRebound Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Whether or not it's a smart move, it's an embarrassment to the NFL and Cleveland. They're trying to turn the NFL into the NBA.
BuffaloBud420 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Smart move. I would of did that if I was Bills.
KellyToughII Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 LMAO you pay someone to take the QB off your roster? Pathetic.
wppete Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 That is wild!!!!! How lucky is Houston! They now will turn around and give a 3round pick for Tony Romo.... WOW I just cant believe Cleveland!
TheElectricCompany Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 @salsports I was told at the combine Bill O'Brien basically hates Brock Osweiler and they just wanted him gone. Guess that was right. Wow. O'Brien and the offensive coordinator didn't get to meet him before they signed him. Crazy! GM & Owner just dumped him in their laps. He wasn't terrible in Denver, I think there's still some potential.
Captain Murica Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Hmmmmmm, are people still envious of the browns and their "plan"?
YoloinOhio Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 He plans to sign with the Cavs after this buyout. Did you know he's the tallest QB in the NFL?
Captain Murica Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 (edited) He plans to sign with the Cavs after this buyout. Did you know he's the tallest QB in the NFL? He also was a highly recruited basketball player. Had a verbal commitment with Gonzaga. Edited March 9, 2017 by Captain Murica
JohnBonhamRocks Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Browns fleeced them. So much cap room that Osweiler for one year affects very little. Basically traded away a 4th this year for a 2nd next year, which a team should always do if possible.
H2o Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Good move by Hue and the gang. They aren't tied to him and can move on without a cap hit. They also picked up another 2nd for 2018.

FireChan Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Hmmmmmm, are people still envious of the browns and their "plan"? I can't tell if these people are joking.
YoloinOhio Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 He also was a highly recruited basketball player. Had a verbal commitment with Gonzaga. well what are we waiting for? Bogut out, Osweiler in!
