BobbyC81 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 @jayskurski Per @AdamSchefter, #Bills WR Robert Woods is heading back home to Los Angeles to sign with the #Rams. If the Bills could've signed Britt, I would've gone for that "trade".
Doc Brown Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I'm trying to get my head around this contract. 5 years 39 million. Are they nuts?
BobbyC81 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 The amount of thread police on this board is astounding. Do they have to meet a quota? Mods are also keeping busy. I got my 1st warning since I joined in 2001.
filthymcnasty08 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I'm a Bob Woods fan no matter what team it involves. Class all the way.
Best Player Available Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I'm a Bob Woods fan no matter what team it involves. Class all the way. He wasn't going to come cheap. He should have been a Bill his entire career. The Guy is 24 years old. A gamer, and I never saw him take a play off. Bad day for the offense, the team, and his fans.
YoloinOhio Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 Mods are also keeping busy. I got my 1st warning since I joined in 2001.yikes. I better watch it.
Boatdrinks Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Wow six pages. Would have been 50 if he went to the Pats. Don't people realize they will win as long as Brady isn't in decline? It doesn't matter who they put around him. NFL level players are good, just teams lose withSchitty QBs. This board is ridiculous with its Patriot love.

No kidding right...Hogan eclipsed 50 pages because he went to Pats then caught just 2 passes more there than he did here.
Logic Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I'm happy for him. Gets to go home to LA Coliseum.I'm also glad he went to an NFC team, so that I can safely root for him for the rest of his career.Class act, quality player. Best of luck, #10!
GunnerBill Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Good luck Bobby. Average NFL receiver but never gave less than everything he had when he was out there for us. Wish him well. Good luck Bobby. Elite Poster Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Going home to LA to play for an awful team and round out his career of being on losing franchises. He plays hard but it doesn't seem like he was really invested in winning a championship. He went five steps backwards joining the Rams. Will they have a stadium next year?
SwaggatronMcCoy Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I mean if all we care about is his ability to block then Woods is a fantastic receiver, but there are guys up and down the market that can block. He's a decent route runner and ball catcher at best. Not irreplaceable by any stretch of the imagination.
boyst Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I personally loved the way he caught the ball with his hands and not his body. Just the right amount of pressure on the ball. Always had his hands up for it. Overall a good dude.catching with hands. Its a dying art isn't it?
Big C Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 (edited) NFL.com put up a nice little highlight video of his time here: http://www.nfl.com/videos/buffalo-bills/0ap3000000792029/2017-Free-Agents-Robert-Woods-career-highlights Gonna miss him. Edited March 10, 2017 by Big C

Would staying in Buffalo have changed your opinion?
Big Gun Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 @pff_sam Rams are seriously projecting for Robert Woods to be justifying that money, even just the $15m guaranteed. Dude's never gained 700+ yards 156 targets, 98 catches the past 2 years playing hurt a lot, run heavy offense and a bad passing QB. He's going to do well in LA, very underappreciated and way underused in Buffalo.
purple haze Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Sorry to see him go. Played hurt, tough, physical and really underrated by many Bills fans. I'm sure Mama Woods is glad he's coming back home.
