buffaloboyinATL Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Crap, this one bothers me. I thought he was good wide receiver depth for us and hoped that we would be able to retain him.
teef Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 good for roberto. has some cash...is close to home. it worked out for him.
xRUSHx Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 (edited) Seen it coming once Tyrod was inked, no way he comes back here just to block for Tyrod. Sadly Sammy will do the same once his contract is up. Edited March 9, 2017 by xRUSHx
boyst Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Yep. Hard to find here... http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/192523-robert-woods-signing-with-rams/?do=findComment&comment=4277562
Rockpile233 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Not surprising at all. I always thought Woods was a solid, reliable option. Just don't have a lot of space this year to pay all these guys.
boyst Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I wish him the best. And hope Gilmore chokes on bradys nuts.
One Before I Die Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 No hard feelings toward Bob Woods at all. Nothing but class for 4 years, someone I'll continue to root for. Good luck to him.
YoloinOhio Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 @pff_sam Rams are seriously projecting for Robert Woods to be justifying that money, even just the $15m guaranteed. Dude's never gained 700+ yards
Bray Wyatt Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Sadly unless Goff improves tremendously, I don't see him having much better stats than what he had here and he wont be able to live up to that contract. He would be well worth that money if he signed in say Indy or San Diego
Tipster19 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Ouch! I was hoping that he would stay. Sammy, Robert, Justin and Walter wasn't a hateful WR corp in my eyes. Thanks for your services Robert, wish you the best! #GoingHome
jeffismagic Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I don't like Goff but I assume Rams will simplify offense for him this year. He needs to play faster as he was lost last year.
YoloinOhio Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 Is he their #1 WR right now? Or is that Tavon Austin?
Mark Vader Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Damn! Really going to miss Woods. He may not be a superstar, but he was a solid WR. Good luck to him in Los Angeles.
Beef Jerky Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 (edited) Damn! Really going to miss Woods. He may not be a superstar, but he was a solid WR. Good luck to him in Los Angeles. He would sacrifice his body to get the block down field. He made crazy catches but always looked like he was going to fall when he would run after the catch. Definitely going to miss him... Now time to draft a WR. Edited March 9, 2017 by Beef Jerky
BuffaloBud420 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 All the good WRs are gone. Expect Pyror and Jefferey who we can't afford
Deranged Rhino Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Is he their #1 WR right now? Or is that Tavon Austin? In the organization's eyes it's Austin. In reality, it's probably Woods or Cooper if he takes a big step this year.
WGBillsFan Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Best of luck in LA...liked him....hope Goff can get him the ball sometimes!
cba fan Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Solid guy but not a game changer except one game vs Seahawks. Will miss his great run blocking and steady play.
