Rodrigo Borgia Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Yep. They will do this. Who the hell plays safety? An average fan from Cheektowaga or Hamburg
BillsFan130 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Well, Bills just need 2 starting safeties, a #1 corner, 1 to 2 starting linebackers and some depth. Should be easy for Doug Whaley with 6 picks. Lol. At least we got 2 full backs, right?..
Beef Jerky Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 God I wish he could have stayed healthy. He was definitely a good player but staying on the field if part of the job. Sucks b.c I have said the past two years they needed to draft a starting safety.
RaoulDuke79 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Loved Williams. The guy always played with heart and seemed to really like playing for Buffalo. With that being said, he's been hit with some serious career threatening and almost life threatening injuries. I would hate to see some terrible happen to him when he's still in a Bills uniform. Best wishes to him moving forward.
Mark Vader Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Now we have a gaping hole at Safety! This really sucks. Having said that, I wish Aaron Williams the best, and I hope he takes care of himself. He will be sorely missed.

Mr. WEO Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Smart move by the Bills. No sense having his blood on their hands. Someone close to him needs to talk him into retirement. It's easier to pick day one starters that way. That's all he does, yo
BullBuchanan Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Sad day to be a Bills fan. As a CB I railed against Aaron Williams as hard as anyone. As a safety he came alive and epitomized what it means to be a Buffalo Bill. Aaron played with a ton of passion and I'll truly miss seeing him out there on Sundays.
May Day 10 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I really like Williams. I hope he finds success in whatever he does. If he does retire soon... I believe he could have a future in football in the way of broadcasting or administrative. He is a bright, likable guy
WGBillsFan Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Thank you Aaron....really liked him and he played with a big heart.....hope he does what is right for his health because your health is more important than football!
wppete Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 That really sucks... Hope he gets healthy.... One of my favourite Bills ever!!!!
muppy Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I hope Aaron enjoys a restful, safe retirement and we can all agree that his contributions here were huge and he gave ever play everything he had. So thankful that this is a DB rich draft year. excellent post
Bills of Boston Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 If this was NE everyone would applaud BB for letting secondary walk for various reasons with the widely known DEEP secondary draft this year.. But is us, so no one does.... Really feel for Aaron, horrible way for a lifelong dream to potentially end

26CornerBlitz Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 @buffalobills We've released safety Aaron Williams. http://bufbills.co/wG4PdP
3rdand12 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Kind of glad I won't need to hold my breath every time he hits someone I seriously would get stressed out. I still recall his last tackle for the Bills. Never would have thought he wouldn't get up. I have enough stuff to worry about. None all the Dead money still accelerates. Cutting him after 4PM though can open more space this year 4.2M in 2017 (but also will kick 2.8M Dead money into 18, but have a ton of room). I would expect this is the route they take yes
