boyst Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Add safety to the list of safety already. CB WR WR S S ILB OLB RB RT !@#$ing fantastic. This is stupid. This is like cutting Fred for Reggie Bush. Let's sign Adam archeletta!
billieve420 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I am hoping all these moves lead to a big signing at WR.
boyst Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Lighten up Francis. The Draft is so deep you can almost get 1st round DB talent in the 3rd round. Jesus FA doesn't start until 4 and fans are wrist slitting over a guy who really hasnt played that much due to injury the last 2 years. we have so many needs that needing to make a position a higher need is silly
turbo044 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Awil, Zach, Gilmore gone. That's your best CB, LB, and safety. I don't want to hear anyone say the P word anymore. Why is free agency over with? Wait, it's just starting in 30 minutes
bilzfancy Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 This is for he best agreed, his long term health is more important
BuffAlone Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Yes will save more cap next year too 6 Picks, Tight Cap SO MANY HOLES = gonna be a bad football team next year and in position to draft a high pick QB next year in perhaps a better draft for a franchise guy. Draft one n let him sit behind TT for a year

Tipster19 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Man, how I hate today! I love me some AW, I just wish him the best! #TrueBill
TPS Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 AW is a fiery competitor and wants to keep playing. The Bills are doing the right thing. I hope you retire AW, so you can literally walk away while you can.
Rockpile233 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 (edited) There are holes everywhere on this roster, but this was obviously the right thing. Edited March 9, 2017 by Rockpile233

This is the right move.no its notWe were drafting someone as it was. Safety is the second hardest position to learn in the NFL. The learning curve unless we get a hooker is difficult. Williams for 3-4 weeks gives 3-4 weeks until injured then rookie step up. We always run deep at safety so we simply bring everyone up and pick up the practice squad dude. Who do we have that is worth more than Williams? Who can we get? And when he's hurt he costs us nothing. He was cheap.
BigBillsFan96 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 If we can by some miracle pull off a Alshon or Pryor in FA I'm all in on trading down in the first to get Peppers, because we need safeties bad.

Alshon yes, though his injury history is concerning. I really really hope we aren't the franchise to give Pryor $50 mil.
Rodrigo Borgia Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Yes will save more cap next year too 6 Picks, Tight Cap SO MANY HOLES = gonna be a bad football team next year Then don't watch any of the games, Private.
kickedface Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 thats too bad. i hope he is able to do well in the next stage of his life
GunnerBill Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 He's a great candidate for a June 1st designation which would kick half of his dead money to next season. Yep. They will do this. Who the hell plays safety?

He could try and come back to get the money to end up on IR, He could end up on IR again. You are better off moving on, knowing you have a need to address that assume you have him and then have to deal with no safety for most of the season. The draft is supposedly very deep at safety. They need multiple....and moving on from Aaron does not change that.
