CommonCents Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Y'know, Bellichich dosent pay players that kinda money unless theyre worth every single penny. Wonder what we offered him? 12.5? Yeah all of Belly Boys signings always work out. Go look at the big contact he gave to Albert Haynesworth. How did that work out?
Maury Ballstein Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 We pay 27 mil to a crap qb and 0.00 to an elite corner L o l.
TSOL Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 This HAS to mean CB 1st round in the draft. Hope Whales has a plan
gatorbait Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I would love to see Gilmore try to tackle Tolbert
26CornerBlitz Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 @RapSheet The expected price tag for free agent CB Stephon Gilmore for the #Patriots is slated to eclipse $14M per year, I’m told. Hefty but worth it
MAJBobby Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 What???/ Please explain Sure. When you knee jerk react and sign an OK QB that didnt even play 16 games to a big money contract but ignore your highly talented CB that you drafted and has played hard and very well for you of course he is not going to give a discount and is going to protect his body to get out as fast as possible
Chuck Wagon Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 It was a colossal mistake not tagging him. We are paying premium dollar for kickers and fullbacks while we let a very good player at a premium position just walk to the team we need to climb over. What a joke.
BuffaloBud420 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I seriously doubt they keep Butler. NE gets something for players, they will get a huge return for Butler. They will. They know Brady is 3-4 left. They will go all out. To secure more rings.
Augie Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 They can have him. Can't tackle worth a darn. Well, then probably will be all-world for the Pats* They do this funny thing where they hold people accountable. I'm hoping our new staff thinks the same way.
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 We pay 27 mil to a crap qb and 0.00 to an elite corner L o l. He's a good corner. I wouldn't say elite. He's getting paid like an elite corner.
TSOL Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Yeah all of Belly Boys signings always work out. Go look at the big contact he gave to Albert Haynesworth. How did that work out? Youre going to doubt a coach/GM with SEVEN Superbowl rings? On Hanyesworth? C'mon man, get your head in the game.
EersN'Bills Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Honestly can't blame him. Sure it sucks that he went to the Pats, but he wants to win, and there's no other team better at that.
Dopey Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Yikes, Pats beat writer Ben VolinVerified account @BenVolin Hopefully Gilmore gives the Patriots better effort than he did on this 53-yard TD he allowed to Chris Hogan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R317Rdhw2Gg … Yea, did you notice the clip ended with that clown Rex shaking his head and looking lost himself? Bringing in Fat Rob helped, didn't it?! Looks like Gilmore and the safety were not only on a different page, they weren't even in the same play book. This will not happen under Belicheck.
mob16151 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I like Gilmore, but I'm glad its the Pats paying him 14 mil per season, and not the Bills.
MAJBobby Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I would love to see Gilmore try to tackle Tolbert Their LBers will handle tackling our FB offseason
BuffAlone Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I seriously doubt they keep Butler. NE gets something for players, they will get a huge return for Butler.isn't Butler a FA? Meaning they hold no rights to trade him unless they sign and trade?
Heitz Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I'm a little surprised that Bills fans are surprised that we didn't pay 14MM+ for Gilmore! Did people really think we were going to sign him now that he hit FA after trying unsuccessfully to extend him in the off-season? Great QB, but can't tackle for **** - I'll miss his coverage skills, but not his "throw the body at the Offensive player and bounce off" tackle style...
without a drought Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Once again, a division rival improves while the Bills regress on talent.
