Looking at Tyrod's deal, Mahomes is still a possibility. McDermott could be thinking 'this will give our rookie 1-2 years to learn, and our best way to win during the interim.' If that's why they kept Tyrod, then fine.

I'd be just fine with that scenario, and it seems likely. But only if he's there in the second. Otherwise, sign a vet at min and draft one next year to complete that process. The logic in that plan isn't as "billsy" as some posters would assume,as it actually seems to make sense

Knowing DW he'll trade 2 1st rounders just to move up one spot to get a bust of a player like Sammy.

maybe your username should read "Disgruntled Bills Fan",or "Hardcore Hater"? Just some third party suggestions. ...

I'm thinking 1st round Davis or Watson [in that order] 2nd round Mahomes. But I am not the best of picking talent. I guess I will just wait until we pick too see who they like. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!

The pick at 10 will be dictated by the holes that are left after free agency. I have a feeling it will be a CB or a WR.

I'm leaning CB too. Not that I want one at 10 but that's where I think we will go.

i think it has to be a DB at this point. im thinking we make a splash today for a free agent wr. then were going to draft a lot of young dbs

At this point I can't see them picking anything other than a Wide Receiver or a Defensive Back.

We need a crazy amount of help at WR, CB and both Safety spots.

I agree. Hopefully Jeffrey or DJax in FA and a CB in round 1, S in rd 2.

I'm in the Mahomes camp. Would love to to trade down a bit first, maybe pick up a decent 2nd out of it though.

Sit one year behind Tyrod, then watch him take the reigns next year. A true gun slinger.

Deshaun Watson.

The Taylor signing does nothing for the long term QB solution for the franchise. The GM and head coach said they would have a QB plan for the short and long term. Taylor gets his very slim chance to take his game to the top 10 franchise QB level, all the while Watson and Jones can develop slowly and the Bills are finally feeling comfortable at the position for at least the next five years.

All of these great positional players that would be available at #10 are luxury items for a team like the Bills who have been lost for almost 20 years without a franchise QB. IMO, don't get too attached to 1st round rated positional players.

Corey Davis.

Sammy Watkins is hugely talented, but until he proves he can stay fit, a WR who is at least a very good number 2 is needed. Davis seems more rounded than Mike Williams and sharper.

Unless Hooker or Adams fall, I dont see a safety worth the value at 10, its good in round 2 and 3 so would rather we wait if one of the top 2 guys are there
