dave mcbride Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Plus side, he'll have more positive yards than Bush. that's about it.
Watkins90 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 The two "signings" are for very different types of players. DiMarco is a run blocking FB. Tolbert is a goal line power back. He's the guy to come in on 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 plays. That is what we have Mike G. for. However, I bet we are preparing to lose him to someone else who is going to get a steal.
sodbuster Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Turn those machines back on! Looks like Winthorp was right. It WAS a big day for pork bellies.

Andrew Son Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Bills innovate by going back to 1967 football.Everything is cyclical, Bobby! Put your little nickel and dime backs out there, BAM!
BillsFan17 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 A 31 year old back who has pedestrian YPA. I really don't understand this move other than possible seeing Tolbert as strictly a short yardage/passing back.
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Well seems like we are doubling down on the ground and pound philosophy even without Rex. Re-sign Taylor and bring in a bruising back to go along with the two good backs we already have on the roster.
PirateHookerMD Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 There goes Shady's fantasy value. Guy is the ultimate vulture.
section122 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 There goes Shady's fantasy value. Guy is the ultimate vulture. Just talking to a buddy about this. Tolbert will have 300 yards and 10 tds lol
Captain Murica Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 There goes Shady's fantasy value. Guy is the ultimate vulture. Thought the same thing about Gilli last season! lol. The game against Oakland screwed me out of $10,000 on Fan Duel.
BuffAlone Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 And three receiving,at least But guys, nothing official about Dimarco, right? I've not seen anything.anyone got a link to that?
H2o Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 There goes Shady's fantasy value. Guy is the ultimate vulture. Shady gets most of his TD's outside of the 10 yard line.
NoSaint Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 More of a power RB than a FB, not a great blocker. id qualify them as definitely different roles. As you said, power runner here while dimarco will not be taking carries.
MAJBobby Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Everything is cyclical, Bobby! Put your little nickel and dime backs out there, BAM! BAM What.... another missed playoff season at 8-8
Clemson Bills Fan Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 David Newton @DNewtonespn It'll be a one-year, $1 million deal, according to a league source. Mike Rodak @mikerodak Bills announce they've agreed to terms with FB Mike Tolbert. He was released by the Panthers last month, so they...
billsfan714 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I would take any street FA minimum salary rb.....any....over Tolbert.
Andrew Son Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 BAM What.... another missed playoff season at 8-8No, that's not the BAM I was evoking
klos63 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 A 31 year old back who has pedestrian YPA. I really don't understand this move other than possible seeing Tolbert as strictly a short yardage/passing back. He can't do anything else. We need a short yardage specialist. Dimarco doesn't carry the ball at all. Also, no guarantee he makes the final roster.
