2003Contenders Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 The two "signings" are for very different types of players. DiMarco is a run blocking FB. Tolbert is a goal line power back. He's the guy to come in on 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 plays.
Guest K-GunJimKelly12 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Maybe this means Juszczyk isn't out of the question.
YoloinOhio Posted March 8, 2017 Author Posted March 8, 2017 @salsports Tolbert will most likely not be a traditional FB for Bills. He has over 100 carries three times in career and had 54 rec one season.
Doc Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 OMG! Special Teams BEAST!!!! The Dukes are cornering the market on Fullbacks--lets get in on it. Just keep him away from the buffet. Turn those machines back on!
YoloinOhio Posted March 8, 2017 Author Posted March 8, 2017 Maybe this means Juszczyk isn't out of the question.all but a done deal with 49ers
Maury Ballstein Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 The new navy/Georgia tech offense is gonna be sweet.

GoBills808 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Welp. He's old, slow, and we already have a FB. Dislike this as much as the Enemkpali move.
KellyToughII Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 @mikerodak Bills will sign RB/FB Mike Tolbert, source tells @JordanRaanan. Like the signing. He will be a RB/FB hybrid in our offense
YoloinOhio Posted March 8, 2017 Author Posted March 8, 2017 @jordanranaan Tolbert is going to be a running back in Buffalo.
Chuck Wagon Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 So basically we could have had Juszcyck for similar (albiet too much) money to do the job we want done by DiMarco + Tolbert.
Guest K-GunJimKelly12 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 all but a done deal with 49ers I was joking.
JoeF Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Turn those machines back on! No one gets us Doc...but that's okay... Seriously, Tolbert is the ultimate wedge buster on KO, wedge blocker on KR and a great FB on punt team....Crossman is happy...
Domdab99 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Plus side, he'll have more positive yards than Bush. I have more positive yards than Bush
Bray Wyatt Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 You mean to tell me we'll finally be able to convert a damn 3rd and inches? I always dreaded these situtations the last couple years, it seemed we could never pick it up when we needed and it would kill drives
BuffAlone Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Tolbert is a beast.I lived in Charlotte for years.good, cheap pickup.he's got a few more years in him,can catch, and block.power runs occasionally, but mostly a blocking FB with good hands. Knows McD well.any numbers being thrown around??
Captain Murica Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 You mean to tell me we'll finally be able to convert a damn 3rd and inches? Exactly, we don't run the QB sneak or have it in the play book.
Domdab99 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 (edited) We gonna run the old triple wing power sweep like Lombardi? does this mean Gilislee is gone? Edited March 8, 2017 by Domdab99
Big Turk Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 More of a power RB than a FB, not a great blocker. Also an excellent receiver out of the backfield and in short yardage situations
