WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted March 8, 2017 Author Posted March 8, 2017 I'm seeing a lot of vet min...any objections to giving a lot of incentives for a certain number of touchdowns or receptions/yards
jdonley1180 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 absolutely. Speed to stretch the D, height to be a redzone threat. After failing to live up to his 2nd round pick expectations he kind of got lost in the shuffle between, Tennessee - Miami - and then Buffalo. We should be able to get him on the cheap.
H2o Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I brought it up in the LaFell thread, but to my knowledge he is an UFA this year and I haven't heard any buzz. We know what he is, and we would need more WRs regardless, but wouldn't it be good to have a red zone WR if we are focusing on short WCO passes? Yes, I am one who thinks he was underutilized last year. Great size and decent speed. Good redzone threat. If he is realistic about his worth then by all means we should
Drunken Pygmy Goat Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Definitely. We needs WRs, and he's a great RZ target.
Drunken Pygmy Goat Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I would absolutely bring him back jc What's the situation? Is Hunter trying to test the market? He made a couple big plays last year, after coming in late, but not a whole lot else. I wouldn'tthink he would command all that much in FA. He's a tier 3 FA WR.
JohnBonhamRocks Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Why not? 2/5's of his catches are touchdowns.
Patrick Duffy Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Yes definitely. Good redzone threat and the more depth at WR the better. Still want a couple younger guys via draft. Hopefully Davis.
Dorkington Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I liked what I saw of him last year, I'd definitely bring him back.
Gunsgoodtime Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Absolutely I would. Great Ted zone target, played with Tyrod, overachieved here last year IMO, should be cheap, and we need all the help we can get at WR. Currently we have no one reliable. Woods is probably gone, which is a shame giving his blocking talent and decent 2 wr, Sammy stays injured, otherwise he would be great
bufbillsball Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I would, especially if he has any special teams skills. Hi didn't show the awful hands from earlier in his career. He made the most of the chances he got. But only at a vet min salary
gr8billsfan Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Yeah. him, Watkins, Listenbee, & Casey Davis via draft
ndirish1978 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 (edited) He's a good red zone target. Even if that's all he does for us and he can't learn to run routes correctly I'd give him a vet min deal and sit him on the bench til we're inside the 20 Edited March 9, 2017 by ndirish1978
r00tabaga Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 WR1 S Watkins WR2 C Davis WR3 K Wright WR4 J Hunter WR5 K Listenbee ...BOOM
