YoloinOhio Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 (edited) @jimowczarski Brandon LaFell is one of the #Bengals priorities this offseason. Things moving well in that regard, but #Bills & #Bears have shown interest. Edited March 8, 2017 by YoloinOhio
Rodrigo Borgia Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I can see that. McDermott's quite familiar with him from his time in Carolina.
Starr Almighty Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 But why? He can't catch and the Bills aren't a passing team
Beef Jerky Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 But why? "We need a WR!" "Why are we looking at WRs?!?!"
YoloinOhio Posted March 8, 2017 Author Posted March 8, 2017 But he played for the Pats so he must be good
KellyToughII Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 He can't catch and the Bills aren't a passing team We are about to be
section122 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 If he comes to the Bills be ready for a bad case of the dropsies.
eball Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Given the Bills' current roster at the WR position, we could probably start a thread that simply says "Bills showing interest in every FA WR out there."
Chuck Wagon Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Yuck. He's basically an older worse version of Woods.
Fan in Chicago Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 But why? So you have one less reason to bi*** about Whaley
Kelly the Dog Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Not a fan of him or our interest. I think with saving $6m on Tyrod we should use it to get Woods back, which helps the run game a lot in addition to a solid #2.
Magox Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Not a fan of him or our interest. I think with saving $6m on Tyrod we should use it to get Woods back, which helps the run game a lot in addition to a solid #2. I don't think he's THAT solid of a #2. I don't know, he just doesn't do it for me.
JohnBonhamRocks Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I'd see LaFell more as a Hunter WR3 replacement than a Woods WR2 replacement.
Zulu Cthulhu Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 But why?Because there is no chance they land someone like Jeffery.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I'd see LaFell more as a Hunter WR3 replacement than a Woods WR2 replacement. Speaking of which, I am ok with kicking the tires on Hunter again. I would rather we try to pick him up than try LaFell. Maybe he is a one trick pony, but red zone touchdown scoring is a pretty good trick.
YoloinOhio Posted March 8, 2017 Author Posted March 8, 2017 Role player but hoping for Hunter to be back too, and still need a WR2 (draft). As I've said, no decent FA WR is signing in Bflo because of the passing game without overpaying.
