Saxum Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 @rapsheet More #49ers news: #Bills WR Marquise Goodwin is headed to the #49ers. Kyle Shanahan loves speed. Grtx Goodwin. You had a season when you were least injured WR and now can collect. Try for two in a row.
H2o Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 NFL Network just tried to compare him to Taylor Gabriel....... LOL!!!
Saxum Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I cashed him out at Bed Bath and Beyond once. True story. That is a fascinating story. I do my best Did he try out the beds/covers? I always envisioned him in a remake of the Princess and the Pea.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Can the Niners just promptly put him on the IR or do they have to go all the rituals and formalities of waiting until his first injury?
YoloinOhio Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 @rapsheet The #49ers are giving new free agent WR Marquise Goodwin a two-year deal worth up to $8M, source said. Incentives are very much in reach
JustWinPlease Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I hope he kills it out there, quite underrated this year...he'll be Shanahan's new Taylor Gabriel.Besides that play against the Jets, digging Tyrod's pass out of the dirt in the end zone at Los Angeles was a nice play.(Too bad he'll have an even worse QB out in San Fran though.)
JimKellyTryouts Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I don't get the Gabriel comparisons aside from the straight-line speed. Gabriel has run much better routes and has proven his worth in the league. Then again, this pontificating could blow up in my face, and their HC learns to use him to maximum potential...
Webster Guy Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 He still has a top 5 combine 40yd time. But definitely time to go. The first thing he should tell shanahan is that if they get to the other teams 20 yard line with 4 minutes left in the Superbowl with an 8 point lead then maybe running the ball would be a good idea, no chance for sacks or holding, great chance to win the championship. Then say you were just kidding, laugh and pretend you got a call on your cell phone, and walk out.
re enlightener Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 See, we make a new thread when its a Bills player. We don't need a thread to discuss backup 4th string long snapper or 5th option tight end or hoyer, etc. This dude was a joke. I remember the graham vs Goodwin arguments. Soooo tenure as a Bill. Graham far better than Goodwin drink much? what language is this? Goodwin was great, on the field as much as sammy w a better catch percentage than Mr. Softy. your post is a joke.
atlbillsfan1975 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Shanny wants a guy like Gabriel here in Atlanta. Goodwin looks like him, same size and speed.
thebandit27 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 drink much? what language is this? Goodwin was great, on the field as much as sammy w a better catch percentage than Mr. Softy. your post is a joke. Literally everything you post about Watkins is wrong. Every...single...time. Goodwin has played in 39 games in 4 years; Sammy has played in 37 games in 3 years. The percentage of availability isn't even close between the two. Sammy had as many catches in 8 games (two of which he couldn't move) as Goodwin had in 15 last year, and that was with 16 fewer targets. For the sake of your own credibility, please stop posting about Watkins. Your takes on him are wildly inaccurate 100% of the time.
3rdand12 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 agree about his sister. That's awesome and I'm glad he's getting paid. yep !
jeffismagic Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Kyle Shanahan knows what he is doing. Goodwin might not have done anything here but Kyle will use him in set packages.
Andrew Son Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Kyle Shanahan knows what he is doing. Goodwin might not have done anything here but Kyle will use him in set packages. Did you watch the SB?
jeffismagic Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Did you watch the SB? He definitely got a lesson in game management. He excels in designing an offense.
Andrew Son Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 He definitely got a lesson in game management. He excels in designing an offense. SF will be the true test of that. If he can pull it off there, there will be no question.
Mr. WEO Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Will Goodwin be "uncoverabale" in SF as well? He definitely got a lesson in game management. He excels in designing an offense. Not hard to "design an offense" around a QB like Ryan. Not much designing in Houston/Cleveland/Washington
CanadianFan Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Most of the girls I dated hated my speed. done in a flash? That's what she said LOL I guess they're going to get a cheap FA speedster after the draft.
