CommonCents Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Should consider limiting his links around here, at this point he is just using the fan base. Yeah Marty for 9million and Clay for ?? whatever he is making. Common man
NewEra Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Ugh. No thanks!! Poor use of the cap if we sign him. Another weapon that would see 1-3 targets a game
billspro Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 If they want another TE they should just draft one this year. I hope we sign a RT and a WR.
Magox Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Makes Sense keeping TT you need high catch Radius pass catchers.... Not the Goodwins of the world I happen to agree with this. Seems like it became psychological for him, I'm going purely based on my observations but it seemed like passes going towards Goodwin were completed at a very low percentage. If I had to take a guess it would have been under 50% completion rate.
yungmack Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports, in addition to the Patriots, the Giants, Jaguars, and Bills are "in on" free agent Martellus Bennett. Per Jason La Canfora Oh well, if La Cacciatore says it it must be true. Not.
Patrick Duffy Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Wonder what that would mean for Clay? Bills probably won't end up landing him anyways, but if somehow they do, I guess that would be bye bye Charles Clay.
BuffAlone Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 With as deep of a TE class this year rather spend FA dollars elsewhere such as fixing the o-line instead.Lots of speed at TE in this draft.I agree with you, other than hurting our rival, this would not make sense
Riverboat Richie Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Unless they have something fantastic they are planning to do with Clay, I doubt this report is true.
KollegeStudnet Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Wonder what that would mean for Clay? Bills probably won't end up landing him anyways, but if somehow they do, I guess that would be bye bye Charles Clay. Last time I looked Clay in 2017 counts way too much in dead money to be cut.
boyst Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 But why?exactly. I'd rather go with a young guy who can catch as a prospect over a guy on his last wheel He's what we need, but I can't see him picking us over the Pats or Giants given how vocal he was about playing for a winner last year.he already won...cheatingly but he won.wait....does he mean "in" or "IN" ?maybe teams are doing a prostate exam as part of their contract negotiations
Chuck Wagon Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I'm not sure how people are simply dismissing every potential target because the draft is deep. We have 6 picks, even if we have a wildly successful draft there's simply no way we can get multiple DBs, add a WR, add a TE, add a QB, add a project OL, add a kicker.....
Bills Fan in Beantown Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I can't imagine it with the money they have tied into Clay, but what do I know.
wppete Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 He wants 9 mill/yr, I saw the other day! Ridiculous... Bills are smart.. Push the price up for NE to overpay or loose him... We have way too much money tied up at TE anyway.
Dr. Who Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 This is a good draft year for TE. I would not spend free agent coin on the position.
