YoloinOhio Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 (edited) michael lombardiVerified account @mlombardiNFL Buffalo and Chicago all over Rickey Wagner from Baltimore. He is about to blow the right tackle market up... Edited March 8, 2017 by YoloinOhio
Andrew Son Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Interesting... I thought he would be too rich for us. A certain goodbye to Gilmore
Chuck Wagon Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 It's going to hurt, but he's the one guy in this market I'd be OK spending on. Dramatically upgrades our line putting us among the best units in the league.
bilzfancy Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 He's one guy I know very little about, anyone with info?

BringBackFergy Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Gilmore was always gone the moment we didn't tag him. Gilmore was gone the minute he looked back at the safety while Chris Hogan burned past him.

thebandit27 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I would find this to be a big mistake. I think Wagner is good, but paying big money for a RT is ill-advised IMO.

Org typically doesn't pay big for UFA OL I'm of the mindset that most every decent FA is going to be expensive this offseason, so I'd rather overpay one surefire starter than overpay 2-3 guys we are hoping can fill starter roles.

If they are going to bolster that oline I hope they are putting a pocket passer behind it, otherwise it's a head scratcher. Edited March 8, 2017 by Commonsense
Tsaikotic Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 might pay big $$ for this guy due to weak OL draft this year....plus the obvious connection to Dennison
JohnBonhamRocks Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 So long as this does not preclude retaining Zach Brown, I'm pumped.
Zulu Cthulhu Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 He's one guy I know very little about, anyone with info?Wisconsin guy, 27, just under 50 starts all at RT
YoloinOhio Posted March 8, 2017 Author Posted March 8, 2017 Not since our huge splash of Langson Walker and Dockery. What a coup... They were doing then what the Browns are going to be doing now. Overpaying FA talent because they have to spend money.
BringBackFergy Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Whaley must be of the mindset that we can beat the Pats and Dolphins by running the ball down their throats...hence the interest in Juiceichick and hopefully retaining Gillespi
Bray Wyatt Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 If we get him (I mean he must know the zone scheme Dennison ran and Castillo is familiar with him) I think this would help our OL learn and gel in this offense quickly. We can structure the contract where the hit isn't so bad this year, but would set our OL up for a couple of years
