KollegeStudnet Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 (edited) Didn't see this posted yet, but rumors are swirling that he could join the Pats and would be willing to take less money to do so. https://www.google.com/amp/www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/adrian-peterson-would-reportedly-consider-team-friendly-deal-to-play-for-patriots/amp/ Edited March 7, 2017 by KollegeStudnet
GoBills808 Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Weird. I don't see him as a Patriot, too expensive at a position you can get much better value. Not a BB move IMO.
Beef Jerky Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 (edited) Hopefully him and Brady both tear their ACL's of he does. Edited March 7, 2017 by Beef Jerky
The Wiz Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Fumbles too much for BB's liking.they know how to fix that.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 i'm seing just about every half-way decent FA linked to the Pats right now. This doesn't seem like a BB move to me unless it is a very, very friendly deal.
KollegeStudnet Posted March 7, 2017 Author Posted March 7, 2017 (edited) I agree, not a BB move. NE is a pass first scheme. It would be rough. Factoring Blount, AP would only see 10-12 carries a game. That's being generous. Maybe, he takes a one year deal. Edited March 7, 2017 by KollegeStudnet

This doesn't seem like a BB move to me unless it is a very, very friendly deal. They have a ton of available cap space so all the guys who are in the buisness of throwing things at the wall are doing so. I don't see the use for Peterson in NE. I think Bill is going to kill it on compensation picks next year and with his cap space he has them set up to stock pile talent once Brady is toast. Branch Logan Hightower Bennett All guys that will get overpaid and should be favorable to the comp system.
KollegeStudnet Posted March 7, 2017 Author Posted March 7, 2017 i believe I saw that they aren't bringing Blount backWow. Just read that. Maybe, Peterson to Pats has some legs.
What a Tuel Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Wow. Just read that. Maybe, Peterson to Pats has some legs. An offer wasn't made though right? You should edit the title to "if the pats offered"
Beast Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Peterson is going to take a lot less wherever he goes whether he likes it or not.
Beef Jerky Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 An offer wasn't made though right? You should edit the title to "if the pats offered" That doesn't get clicks
Webster Guy Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 i believe I saw that they aren't bringing Blount back they kill me. NFL rushing touchdown leader, doesn't fumble, pass protects well, good teammate by all accounts. Lets cut the guy.......
Virgil Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 I've thought about him or Charles heading there. Seems like a very Pats/Our Luck kind of thing to happen
aristocrat Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 they did get corey dillon back in the day and got him a ring...what happened to that guy? this could be a deal they do
Patrick Duffy Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Lol, watch them get him, and prolly Robert Woods. And then win the Super Bowl again for the next 3 years.
