teef Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 pretty pumped about this. i just don't think this team can afford to lose gillislee, and i didn't even think about the c position once groy took over.

Will not tender LB IK Enemkpali or P Colton Schmidt all new kickers next season, thank you! I forgot IK was on the team. Where will he go with Rex out of the league? Jamie Nails Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Wouldn't be surprised if someone tried to sign Groy- no draft pick compensation associated

I agree. Gillislee will be huge this year imo. Shady cannot handle the "feature back" load anymore. And as far as Groy goes, I expected C to be a big problem when Wood went down, but I think Groy solidified himself as the swing C/G.

T-Bomb Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Happy about Gillislee, but I don't think Groy is anything special, I guess he can prove me wrong next season.
Bronxbomber21 Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 How do you figure that shady can't handle the feature back load anymore? He just had one of his best seasons since 2013.
dwight in philly Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 i thought schmidt was decent, surprised, although he tailed off a bit last year.
Heavy Kevi Posted March 7, 2017 Author Posted March 7, 2017 How do you figure that shady can't handle the feature back load anymore? He just had one of his best seasons since 2013. From an injury standpoint. 20+ carries is not sustainable for him anymore. Give each of them 10-12 carries and both YPC will skyrocket as well.
YoloinOhio Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Sal Capaccio Verified account @SalSports Never expected Bills to tender Schmidt. No reason. Very few teams have need for a punter. And if a team wants to overpay him, get another. Sal Capaccio Verified account @SalSports 25m25 minutes ago I'd expect Bills to still try and retain Schmidt on a new deal.
PromoTheRobot Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 How can we spin this as a negative on Whaley?
YoloinOhio Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 How can we spin this as a negative on Whaley? Clearly he rebuffed offers from Brian Moorman to help Schmidt. Even if this didn't happen, I bet he hypothetically would have done this.
ytownblofan Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Hopefully Gillislee does not become the next Hogan. A 5th is a small price to pay if a team thinks he can be a feature back and signs him to a hefty offer sheet.
section122 Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 I'm glad they tendered them but am a little nervous others may swoop in on these guys.
