Buffalo716 Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 (edited) This is the deepest CB class in a long long time Our Bills have a glaring need at CB and at Safety I feel if we go the Defensive back route I think our best option if Hooker and Adams are gone is Marshon Lattimore CB out of Ohio State He is tall, long and very fast He is not afraid of any WR and lines up right under their chin He has very good hands at the LOS and can re route receivers early Fluid hips to turn and run with recievers on the 9 route yet agile enough to fluidly rotate back on the comeback He's got the perfect temperament for a #1 corner and would excel in McDermotts cover 3 http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/marshon-lattimore?id=2558061 Edited March 7, 2017 by Buffalo716
H2o Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Lattimore definitely showed up in a big way today. Wonder how he was in his interviews?
thunderingsquid Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 (edited) I trust McDermott and Whaley to make the right call on this one. I'm not worried, we'll get the BCBA and BDBA this April. Now QB on the other hand... Edited March 7, 2017 by thunderingsquid

Comebackkid Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 It's a pity as deep as this draft is that we don't have more picks.
nemhoff Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Here comes the draft....I just read "fluid hips" and it was one dude talking about another.

I don't remember when safeties were valued so high and a terrific CB could come after two satires in the top 10. The DB class is so deep, we may hold off, but then maybe not.

It's very very tough to say let's take Jamal Adams over over a very good young corner in Lattimore But Adams can straight dictate games He is built perfectly and can run very well His leadership skills are off the charts as well as his field awareness He is the best all around prospect since Eric berry probably That's hard to pass up

Buffalo716 Posted March 7, 2017 Author Posted March 7, 2017 Oh, I'm not disagreeing, just saying that wasn't the mindset even just a few years ago. I understood where you were going and it's crazy that GMs would let that dictate their board 5-10 years ago If you can get an all pro you grab them I hope 9 GMs ahead of us think a safety isn't worth a top selection
YoloinOhio Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 (edited) I love him so, so much. He's everything you want in an NFL corner. Unfortunately, he has a chronic hamstring issue. Gareon Conley may be just as good, and has more experience. Lattimore a higher ceiling, perhaps. Edited March 7, 2017 by YoloinOhio

YoloinOhio Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Unfortunately most top notch athletic corners share that chronic hammy problem ugh. He is perfect otherwise.Lattimore definitely showed up in a big way today. Wonder how he was in his interviews?he is a very humble kid. From same HS in Cleveland as Cardale Jones.

The DB class is so deep, we may hold off, but then maybe not. That's one area that should be fixed with this draft. Find a WR or three in FA, maybe an o-lineman and draft your favorite QB.
