Per Steve Smith Sr.'s Twitter. He's 28 years old, and would be an immediate upgrade over someone like Goodwin. I think he'd come at a pretty decent price too, cheaper than DeSean Jackson. The Bills should sign him, IMO.

Surpassing Goodwin isn't a big jump. Remember that BS of Olympic speed? The guy never had Olympic speed. Graham was faster and actually played but both were bad.

I mention Goodwin because having a deep threat in this offense would be deadly. Smith can take the top off the defense, which leaves even more opportunities to get Sammy the ball. Plus, Smith is definitely healthier than Goodwin...

I would love this signing. Keep TT, draft a RT and the offense is good to go.

Draft can be DB, S, RT in the first rounds and I think we are in good shape

Yeah. I think he'd come cheap(er) than the other WR's available. Would be a good value signing.

I agree with this strategy!

If he's a value, would be a nice 2 or 3.

What's the trick, catching the ball?

Fly routes and an occasional post. He's not really a possession type guy who runs multiple routes. I'd rather keep Woods than sign him. Woods will probably come cheaper as well.

Wasnt he available last year too? Was he released or FA?

he was made available for trade, but it never transpired. Philly was reportedly very interested at the time and with their WR situation I expect they will go after him hard. He will have options. Sadly I don't think he'd choose Bills with the current QB/passing game. He tweeted that he is going to get back to where he was (presumably he meant pre-Kap/Gabbert). Edited by YoloinOhio

Smith would be a great WR2 for this team. Not saying Woods is not a great WR2, but Smith's intangibles are better and could be an improvement over Woods.

Every GM in the league has been waiting for Torrey Smith to reach his potential his entire career. I'd rather start a 7th round pick.

hot take alert! Dez Lewis awaits you.

Within those parameters I'm with you. Would keep Woods for similar money.

One report had the Eagles interested in Kenny Britt who is a Ram and an UFA.
