Heavy Kevi Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 About frickin time for Carp to get cut. Very interested to see where they go now for PK. We let Gould walk right past us. What about Folk? I am not sure about prospect kickers this year, but would be happy to see them get a promising rookie. Keep that cap nimber nice and low, and I can't imagine anyone being worse than Carp has been for the last 2 years.
boyst Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Say hello to Captain Munnerlyn.god no. He makes mckelvin look aware
TPS Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 The CB depth in the 2017 draft runs deep, so the Bills must think they can find a suitable replacement for NRC.I guess being short is a liability in a primarily zone scheme...
thebandit27 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Gotta figure that Corey Graham and Marcus Easley will be following soon after
26CornerBlitz Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 @mikerodak Bills’ current cornerback depth chart: Ronald Darby Kevon Seymour Marcus Roberson Jonathan Dowling Charles Gaines
YoloinOhio Posted March 6, 2017 Author Posted March 6, 2017 Gotta figure that Corey Graham and Marcus Easley will be following soon afterand hopefully Schmidt, not that it saves any money
billsfan_34 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 NRC is a playmaker, especially as a blitzer. And now they'll need two new starting CBs. Messed up. He has made some plays, unfortunately he was getting roasted last year and is too small.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 and hopefully Schmidt, not that it saves any money Thought he was an FA anyway
WGBillsFan Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 It's a deep LS draft. hahaha......maybe we can trade down and still get a LS in first!
thebandit27 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 and hopefully Schmidt, not that it saves any money He's a RFA; they need only not tender him and he's gone.
Jamie Nails Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Graham isn't going anywhere. He'll be here one more year.
switz1610 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Fine with me, good slot corner, knows McD's defense, is a FA, and most important, has an awesome name. And played college ball w/ Gilmore.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 2 CBs fit our defense perfect, Alterraun Verner and Captain Munnerlyn. I would like to see both signed.
JimKellyTryouts Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) NRC was one of the nicest Bills I've met, and it's easy to see why he was a fan favorite. Sucks, but it's sensible with the money saved and how his best years with us were with Pettine. As for the legend of Garrison Sanborn, we have a LS signed to a reserve/future contract, I think he's from LSU. I'm sure Crossman and his surprisingly high tenure here had plenty of enough insight for how we should manage with life without Garrison. Edited March 6, 2017 by JimKellyTryouts
billsfan_34 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Graham isn't going anywhere. He'll be here one more year. He is a very good tackler still- I would keep him for another year too
BuffaloHokie13 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Graham isn't going anywhere. He'll be here one more year. I actually would rather bring Ihedigbo back than Graham at this point
Buffalo86 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Which 2 kickers will we get to replace Carpenter? And who's going to go one-on-one with Gronk now that Robey-Coleman's gone?
