YoloinOhio Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) @charlesrobinson Former #Ravens WR Kamar Aiken has roughly 6 teams interested in him. #Bills, #Browns and #Seahawks looking like strongest candidates for now Edited March 21, 2017 by YoloinOhio
Buffalo716 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Don't they mean former Bill TURNED former Raven Kamar Aiken?!? Lol I'd swing the tires on a cheaper deal.. Better than what we have right now
Fixxxer Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I rather have Kenny Britt. Aiken is very inconsistent.
BuffaloBillsGospel Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I don't think we could even afford Aiken with our cap.
Hardcore Bills Fan Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 What exactly would be the point of signing this guy?
YoloinOhio Posted March 6, 2017 Author Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) I rather have Kenny Britt. Aiken is very inconsistent. Britt is expected to get $6M-$8M on the open market. (via Yahoo). He's also at his best on crossing routes. Edited March 6, 2017 by YoloinOhio
jr1 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 why did his production dive in 2016? It says he played in all 16 games http://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/14583/kamar-aiken
Patrick Duffy Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Don't they mean former Bill TURNED former Raven Kamar Aiken?!? Lol I'd swing the tires on a cheaper deal.. Better than what we have right now I believe you're thinking of Sam Aiken. He was a Bills WR from a few years back.
John from Riverside Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Actually I think we had Kamar at a certain point to All I know is he looked very good up until last year.
BobbyC81 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Actually I think we had Kamar at a certain point to All I know is he looked very good up until last year. Yes, I believe Kamar Aiken was a training camp and preseason star in 2011 who was on the team but hardly played.
GETTOTHE50 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) What exactly would be the point of signing this guy? same question i have Edited March 6, 2017 by GETTOTHE50
Tuco Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Britt is expected to get $6M-$8M on the open market. (via Yahoo). He's also at his best on crossing routes. Stop speaking in riddles. What's a crossing route?
YoloinOhio Posted March 6, 2017 Author Posted March 6, 2017 What exactly would be the point of signing this guy? WR2 Actually I think we had Kamar at a certain point to All I know is he looked very good up until last year. same player
Pbomb Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 What exactly would be the point of signing this guy? what yolo said, you cant have superstars at every position. Also what was the point of signing zb and lorax last year, both low key signings that seemed to work out for us
Blokestradamus Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) He played lights out in 2015. With Smith, Perriman, Pitta all back from injury and Mike Wallace being decent again, he could barely see the field. Would love this move for a reasonable price. He's a good one. FireChan Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Time is a flat circle. Bills will pay $12M for Deonte Thompson next season.
Coach Tuesday Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 He had a strong preseason with Buffalo a few years ago and missed out on the roster in final cuts I believe. He went to New England for a cup of coffee but didn't do too much. Became a solid role player with the Ravens but he's really a JAG, he's a cheaper, slightly less talented version of Bob Woods. Not an inspiring signing if it happens.
Big Turk Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I believe you're thinking of Sam Aiken. He was a Bills WR from a few years back. Kamar Aiken signed with the Bills as a UDFA out of college in 2011 and played in 2 games on special teams...he was released in 2012 and joined the Patriots, then Bears before actually getting time at WR in Baltimore regularly
YoloinOhio Posted March 6, 2017 Author Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) The Bills currently have no QB, worse passing game in the league, limited cap space and only 2 WRs under contract - one who has never played a down and one who can't stay healthy who also happens to be their WR1. They certainly aren't in position to sign a big time FA WR. They need this signing in a big way and will then need to draft one in the early rounds. Edited March 6, 2017 by YoloinOhio
