2020 Our Year For Sure Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 Is it bad that if I find out someone is a "professional wrestling" fan I immediately have a lesser opinion of that person?I don't know but I love wrestling, it's a fun art form. Especially being there live.
Bray Wyatt Posted June 16, 2017 Author Posted June 16, 2017 Is it bad that if I find out someone is a "professional wrestling" fan I immediately have a lesser opinion of that person? Why would you have a lesser opinion of them?
eball Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 Why would you have a lesser opinion of them? Probably because I think it's about the dumbest form of entertainment ever conceived and for the life of me I can't understand why anyone would waste their time on it, much less debate it vociferously. I guess I should just view wrestling fans in the same way as folks who get excited about discussing movies or TV shows or musical artists...but for some reason I can't.

Interesting, you are able to acknowledge that it is like other things but is not for you, yet still hold a certain disdain for it Side note, anyone here play the WWE Champions game? I saw there is a BillsMafia faction and wondered if any of those guys are on here
Koko78 Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 I really wish they would bill the Reigns/Joe match as Samoa Joe vs. Joe the Samoan...
Bray Wyatt Posted June 20, 2017 Author Posted June 20, 2017 I really wish they would bill the Reigns/Joe match as Samoa Joe vs. Joe the Samoan... All I know is that Braun coming back and out the back of an ambulance is exactly what we need
Koko78 Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 All I know is that Braun coming back and out the back of an ambulance is exactly what we need The pop he gets for beating the hell out of Reigns is hysterical. I'm glad McMahon isn't trying to push him as a heel, and just letting him be a monster.
Koko78 Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Interesting decision to re-do the Women's MOTB match. While I get the idea of having Ellsworth interfere and win the match for Carmella (which seemed to draw a lot of heat from tonight's crowd as they bragged), I am ultimately mixed on whether or not it was a good idea. I think the booking was a slap in the face of the women's division after they all worked hard night after night to be taken seriously, rather than the horrible bathroom break/bra and panties-type matches of ages past.

Yeah the initial decision is questionable, but they drew a lot of heat and Carmella's promo sold me on the fact that they should have let her keep the case, she focused all the anger on to her. She should win the re-match with shenanigans again, just to add more heat
Eric Moulds on my A** Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 X Yeah the initial decision is questionable, but they drew a lot of heat and Carmella's promo sold me on the fact that they should have let her keep the case, she focused all the anger on to her. Maybe put Enzo back with her and give Cass the push he needs to be the Champ. 7 feet tall... Can't Teach That!

He gets good crowd reactions. Just look at him getting Bryan worked up by referencing his daughter. That was classic heeling. He's eventually going to get annihilated by someone as a payoff (hopefully Becky.)

I am with you on this, I even liked when he was doing his "Duh!" thing. He is perfectly annoying and you shouldn't like him and want to see him get bashed in, that's his job as a heel and he is doing it well imo. He and Becky were going back and forth on twitter awhile back, I was hoping it would be a match eventually. Perhaps Ellsworth does shenanigans similar to what Jericho did when he was banned from ringside to help KO (wore Sin Cara mask) to help Carmella win again. Becky goes to D Bry and asks for a match against him for a measure of revenge
Bray Wyatt Posted July 5, 2017 Author Posted July 5, 2017 Deangelo Williams looking good in the ring!
The Poojer Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 it's getting unwatchable with all the posturing and posing going on...that rap battle with the uso's and new day...randy orton posing on the ring and the opponent allowing him to do so.....the ladder matches where they suddenly don't have enough energy to climb the ladder....they need to get back to the more realistic reactions and stop mugging so much and making it dramatic for the cameras. it's tough to watch these days.
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 Deangelo Williams looking good in the ring!Impact has been a fun little show for a good 2-3 months now. WWE I've had to completely stop watching.

I agree the rap battle was stupid, especially the ending. Although I did appreciate the (thinly veiled) shot the Usos took at Xavier Woods being in the Paige sex video. I'm mildly surprised the WWE script monitors allowed that one to go through. As for the posing, the WWE is never really going to allow much in the way of interrupting entrance routines. I did like how Aiden English asked Orton mid-pose if he was done yet, before attacking him.
KermitMcDermott Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Caught the end of the PPV. Ambulance crash was stupid. Joe/Brock started off cool but then turned into typical Brock match. At least some funny pics surfaced.
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 What is "ambulance crash?" I haven't watched
