Seeing the usual talking heads blame Trump for this is amusing. Okay, I'll play. Who was president when James Byrd Jr. was lynched? I'll hang up and listen.

I thought James Byrd killers were put to death? Doesn't that kinda show we thought what they did was heinous and vile.

The hypothesis to be tested: Can a people from Africa be fully integrated as citizens in a majority white population?
The experimenters insisted that if they could find the right formula the experiment would work. They created the Freedman’s Bureau, passed civil rights laws, tried to build the Great Society, declared War on Poverty, ordered race preferences, built housing projects, and tried midnight basketball. They called in National Guard troops to enforce school integration. Over the protests of parents, they put white children on buses and sent them to black schools and vice versa. They tried with money, special programs, relaxed standards, and endless hand wringing to close the “achievement gap.”
Through the years, too many black people continue to show an inability to function and prosper in a culture unsuited to them. Detroit is bankrupt, the south side of Chicago is a war zone, and majority-black cities all over America are beset by degeneracy and violence. The white elite would tell us that this doesn’t mean the experiment has failed. We just have to try harder. We need more money, more time, more understanding, more programs, more opportunities.

But nothing changes no matter how much money is spent, no matter how many laws are passed, no matter how many black geniuses are portrayed on TV, and no matter who is president. Some argue it’s a problem of “culture,” as if culture creates people’s behavior instead of the other way around. Others blame “white privilege.”
But since 1965, when the elites opened America’s doors to the Third World, immigrants from Asia and India–people who are not white, not rich, and not “connected”–have quietly succeeded. While the children of these people are winning spelling bees and getting top scores on the SAT, black “youths” are committing half the country’s violent crime–crime, which includes viciously punching random white people on the street for the thrill of it.
The experiment has failed. Not because of culture, or white privilege, or racism. The fundamental problem is that white people and black people are different. They differ intellectually and temperamentally. These differences result in permanent social incompatibility. As taxpayers, we are no better off than slave owners who were obliged to keep the slaves from cradle to grave.

How many have lost their livelihood expressing such thoughts?

Could it be that all the social programs were reparations/bribes to keep the racial group quiet?

No, It is a cut down edited comment to a Yahoo article. At times, I find the comments are much more insightful than the actual article, especially on Yahoo.

I found the comparison of outcomes of immigrants since '65 from Asia interesting. Like how is "institutional racism" even a factor when native born Blacks should have an advantage over foreign born Asian?

With regard to my comment, Jimmy the Greek, Howard "little monkey" Cosell, and James Watson come to mind of those who were punished for impure thought.

There are two sides to this "factor".  The first is our system has a built in bias against blacks resulting from the period of slavery that has carried through to this day.  The second is that Asian cultural values along with their willingness and desire to assimilate into American culture has lead to success while blacks that don't succeed refuse to adopt the cultural traits required to succeed in the context of American culture.

My fundamental problem with all the racial generalizations that are driving all the current narratives is they contradict all concepts of individual freedom.  Are we to believe that just because somebody is White or Black or Asian or Hispanic that they by default adopt and hold all the characteristics of the current stereotype of each racial group?  The concept of the individual is completely lost on people pushing the diversity and race narrative.  Its to the point they can't even comprehend of the concept of the individual.  And seek to erase this concept.

I know and work with people from all races, background, nationalities, beliefs.  They all share common traits,  Hard work, drive, family, honesty, integrity, etc.   I don't even recognize or think of them by their race.  I expect most people feel the same as I do and view the diversity and race baiting narratives with total contempt.  If you don't you should, because what's at risk is a loss of individual freedom.  That is the basic concept that defines what America is all about.   A concept the race baiters and socialist and communist absolutely hate as it completely obliterates their arguments and agenda.  If you look at everything they propose from the perspective of eroding individual freedom, and using the force of government to push people into arrangements against their will, you'll see what they''re really all about.  I think one work for it might be totalitarianism.

Their goal here isn't to improve the lives of oppressed minorities or equality or social justice.  The goal is to sow the seeds of conflict in order to gain power, political, social, economic.  Unfortunately most political and business leaders lack the guts and fortitude to stand up to it because all they care about is the mob leaving them alone and going after somebody else.  What they don't seem to understand is all in good time they'll get to you too.

I reject your argument of a bias because of slavery. No person living today has ever seen a slave let alone owned one, and at one time Asians were not allowed to immigrate here. Asians overcame it and have never rioted, unlike Blacks, who have a major riot every five to ten years.
Of course, there are good people in every racial group, but we are talking about BLM because of problems with one group. I do not see the destruction of property as an individual freedom issue except its resulting chaos being used to expand government. I have serviced all groups, and treated them all the same as well, but this a problem which will not go away. The Jesse Jacksons, Sharptons, Colin Ks of the world should lend their voices to elevate the Black perspective/definition of success. Follow the Asian model if not the White one.
